Never had a bad meal here, food is excellent, fair pricing, service is great. I love coming here for dinner. I usually get chicken angela and haven't had another restaurant even come close to being as good.

Great Times. Great food and atmosphere. I have been there many times and will go many more times more. My favorite dish is the catilloni del mar half red sauce and half white sauce.

EXCELLENT!. We usually go to Mama Maria's several times a year... they now have a patio which is NOT well known, so it makes it better for us! I think we have tried almost every item on every menu, inlcuding the martini list... AND ITS ALL GREAT!! Go, you won't be disappointed.

Poor Customer Service. My husband and I come here every weekend for our date night. THe last time we arrived, we had reservations as usual. We were seated and given menus. Twenty minutes later (after having no luck flagging down a waiter/waitress), I went to tell the hostess that we have not been waited on. She told us that she would send someone right over. Ten minutes later we finally got up to leave. The manager, who watched the hostess seat us 30 minutes ago, said "thanks for coming, how was your dinner". When we told him we sat there for 30 minutes without being waited on, he said, "Oh, can I get you a waiter?" We had not time for this.

All I can say is wow!. Mama Maria's is simply the best Italian restaurant around. The Champange of Chicken Breast is worth the drive over.

Perfect 10!. The food was awesome and the service was outstanding. If you haven't been here, you must go. This is the way a restaurant is supposed to be. Everyone working together to produce a good food product and service. It shows from the hostess to the table maids to the servers. Excellent!

Totally AWESOME!!. The food was excellent, try their ravioli some time!! Free bread, which was really good. It might be a good idea to make reservations though. It gets crowded especially on weekends. It's hard to explain in words, you have to go there and see for yourself!

Worth the drive across the border!. Everything is made to order. They even modified an entree for me, changing a sauce. We sat outside on the deck on a nice day, also enjoyable. Their dining room would have been more than inviting also, by the appearance. Fresh pastas, very good value, a late lunch for two, w/salads, two cocktails for under $40 with tip. Good luck finding such bang for the buck in the cities. If I had one knock against, other than the drive, the menu could be a bit more inventive. However, that was the lunch menu. The dinner menu appeared more imaginative. Don't get me wrong - the cannelonni & the fusilli were both VERY good. We'll just try that on our next drive. Want a nice drive & a great meal? This IS the place. Forget about the Bayport Cookery. This place would be hoppin' if it was located in the cities.
