This cement-and-plastic Bloomington behemoth is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in the United States. At 4.2-million square feet, it's home to more than 500 stores, 60 eateries, a 14-screen movie theater, an indoor amusement park and an aquarium. The mall is anchored by Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom and Sears, but also includes local finds and a wedding chapel. Notable restaurants include the Rainforest Cafe and Tucci Bennuch, as well as plenty of fast food.

My wife and I have visited this mall on many occasions and it's an absolute gruesome expense of time being harassed by all the little mall kiosk vendors ALL OF THE TIME. We can't walk through the hallways without the kiosk vendors walking in front of our path "excuse me sir, can i ask you a question", "beautiful wife sir, beautiful wife, can i speak to you for a second", "wow look at this couple, come over here for a moment, let me show you something"... then when you ignore them they say "Have a GREAT afternoon" and you know by GREAT they mean "go f yourself" On most other occasions when you ignore them as you walk by they speak to your back in a foreign language (most of these harassers appear to be of Persian descent), and again, you know that what they're saying to you must not be good at all. On an occasion where my wife went alone, one of the kiosk vendors (on the 2nd floor next to the escalator in front of Nordstrom) a couple of guys who work that kiosk continually followed my wife as she came up the escalator as she walked around their kiosk to the escalator for the 3rd floor asking for her phone number. I am considering speaking to the police or mall management about this harassment, and I'm sure my wife and myself surely aren't the only people to get harassed while walking through the halls.

This Mall has everything you possibly need at a mall and more. We have gone a few times when we have been in the area and always have had a great time. We always enjoy the amusement park and the aquarium. It takes a few days time to go through the mall but it is a sight to see.

This mall has a bit of everything. There is an amusement park indoors that even includes roller coasters.There is a great aquarium ,restaurants and so many other things. They are in the process of doubling the size of the mall which could be overwhelming.

Know Before You Go:
Weekends after 6pm, visitors 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can escort up to 10 kids. Be prepared to show ID.

Spaces for expectant mothers are available in the north and south lots and in all four anchor-store surface lots.
