Good Food, Questionable Value. In general I think Red Pepper's dishes are better than any other Chinese takeout place I've been to, but the value is questionable. It's fairly expensive for what it is, and whenever I got takeout they always leave about half an inch empty at the top of the carton.

Absolute Best Chinese in town. This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities. I lived in HK for 11 years and have experiance with Chinese food. 2 of the best dishes are the Red Pepper Beef and the Dragon Prawns.

Horrible Experience. I picked up take out during last weekend's snow storm. They sent me home with the wrong order - and when I phoned to try to get a refund, the manager refused to provide one unless I brought the food back. No other solution was offered to me. The last thing I wanted to do was go back out in the storm but, for me, it was the principle! I drove back, returned the food, was issued the refund, and got stuck in the snow on my return home. The only other vehicles on the road were the plows -- and thank goodness one friendly driver took the time to stop and help me. The pizza I had ordered was delivered in the meantime and was waiting for me when I returned home.

Plymouth strip mall Chinese restaurant is a local lunch favorite.. In Short
The interior looks like the most generic hotel dining room, with Muzak and all. But the hordes of workers who flock there for lunch don't seem to mind. Like most Chinese restaurants, it has an enormous menu, with a separate page for house specials. This includes the Red Pepper beef: thin beef slices fast-fried into crunchy slivers. There are also family dinners for two or more people.

My spot. I have been eating here for many years. The hot spicy beef and potato is fantastic, and so is the chow fun. Ricky takes care of you. Great place.
