The Scene
The lunch-only upscale cafeteria's many windows offer a Manhattan-like view of the surrounding office towers. The same bare white walls and floor that give the place its open feeling also contribute to the noise level, which is considerable, especially around noon on weekdays.
The Food
The all-you-can-eat salad bar is the main attraction. The Skyroom also contains four other food stations: Tejas (with such southwestern fare as fresh vegetable tacos and blue cornbread sticks), Pizza and Pasta (try the grilled chicken Caesar), the American Grill (with freshly made malts to go with your burger), and the 8th Street Deli (made-to-order sandwiches and a variety of sides).

Amazing-The bright atmosphere helps any day seem much better with windows overlooking downtown Minneapolis. And the food. 5 different venues to choose from. It's like a way upscale food court where bus persons will refill your beverages and clear your tables.

Albeit noisy, the Skyroom offer some of the best burgers I've tasted in the Twin Cities. Always fresh and cooked to order, this place should be a go-to when the craving hits. Nicely browned fries complment the plates and there is never a long wait. Best of all, there's no limit on the condiments and the proce can't be beat. Too bad they canned the piano player!
