Major Improvements. In an earlier review, we thought that the food her had gone down hill, but a visit last night has changed all that. No, this is not 5 star cuisine. . . but if you want to take a short drive to Prescott (30 min from Snelling and I94) and sit perched on the bluffs overlooking the St. Croix, the food is good, the menu. . . quite ample, the service is great and the prices are very reasonable.

More for you money. I visited the Steamboatinn for their Friday night fish fry and was pleasantly suprised by the quality and varity of food for the money. You get salads/fish both deep fried and broiled/ chicken or pork or ham with cheezy potatoes/beans/baby reds along with soup and a wonderful choice of salads. Most fish frys I have been to give you fish,cole slaw,mashed potatoes and a brownie if you are lucky. Their other portions are also great and you get a salad/bread and vegetables with the meal(included not alacarte) It's worth the drive - great scenery tooooo...
