The izzy scoop makes the cone!. Izzy's is becoming the most popular ice cream place in town! Who wouldn't want to visit? Their homemade ice cream is the BEST around! Whenever I am there, I always hear customers telling the employees how wonderful their ice cream is. Plus, who can resist the wonderful smell of waffle cones when you walk in the door?

Once you have an Izzy's ice cream cone, you'll be hooked!!! I know I am!

Pass Grand Old Creamery and go to Izzy's. 2 reasons you'll enjoy Izzy's more than Grand Old:

1. Shorter Line

2. Creamier ice cream

No line down the sidewalk to eat at Izzy's.

The ice cream doesn't have the watery quality I've noticed with some flavors at Grand. And the best part: The Izzy!!!! You can always try an exotic new flavor when you enjoy your personal favorite.

Izzys ISNT that great. Izzy's made some of the worst tasting waffle cones ive ever had. The flavor selection is limited, My ice cream was half melted when i got it, The extra flavor they gave you ruins the taste of the of the one you order. This place seems like a grand ole creamery wannabe.

The joy of the Izzy. The conceit of the Izzy, a mini scoop that tops your order, is beyond clever. Perhaps you feel like experimenting, but don't want to commit to a full scoop. Get a single vanilla with an Izzy of dark chocolate zin. Feel calorie conscious? Get an Izzy in a cup. Just can't decide? Izzy to the rescue.

Also don't miss the Izzy pop, an Izzy on a stick coated in luscious dark chocolate.

The staff is friendly and helpful and isn't stingy with requests to taste, which you'll want to do because there are so many delicious, creative options in addition to the very well-exectuted standards.

better than sebastian joe's!. what a fabulous place!

we came for a treat with our two boys (both under three). it was a perfect summer night, so they were fairly busy. but the service was fast and the ice cream was so, so good!!

i loved that you can get a seperate little zzy cone for only a dollar -- the perfect size for our little one!

the staff was so helpful. one person (the owner or manager it seemed??) carried out a high chair for us when he saw us struggling with the kids & cones, and when the outside tables were full, got several extra chairs for us (including a child-sized one which our older boy just loved!!).

we look forward to having an izzy's on our side of the river (opening on nicollet mall soon!!) and will be back often.
