We went to Macy’s-Ridgedale Lake shore Grill for lunch today.

Same ambiance we remembered and we ordered the old nostalgic dishes we had in the past.

When the popovers came they were great, then the food came.

My order had broccoli that was cold to the bite. I mean cold!

It was the first thing I sampled and took a second from the other side of the plate and found it to be the same.

Sending back got me an apology from the waitress and a micro waved hot plate of food almost to hot to eat.

I am sorry the kitchen did not do their job right the first time out or do their correction correctly.

In this economy the restaurant looked to probably have a busy Saturday and should have been up to the standard of a Top Restaurant. It did not.

One problem after another. My wife used a $100 gift card at this Macy's. She had a remaining balance of around $80 left. Came back a couple of months later to use her gift card again and they said the balance remaining was 0. She called the Macy's fraud dept and they said the card had been maxed out in CA. She told them she never bought anything in CA. They started a fraud investigation almost a year ago and it still has not been resolved. No apology or reimbursement from Macy's nothing but excuses. Was in today for the big sale. None of my 2 coupons or online coupon code worked. They said coupons and online codes did not apply to their Wustof knifes but the coupon code did not mention any exclusions. They lure you to their store then don't honor their coupon codes. Also, their gift cards do not work in their in store kiosks that sell stuff like ipods. I had to get a manager involved just to make the transaction. Macys sucks. Wish it was still Marshal Fields.

Great Makeup consultant!. Bought new makeup and Maggie the Smashbox consultant was so helpful and pleasant. You are lucky to have such a nice young woman working for you and I hope you appreciate her as much as I do.
