Brunch not for Lunch please.
We went to McCormick's for Easter Brunch and it was terrible. So bad that we have no desire to go back even for a regurlar meal. We had fruit flies flying around us, the fruit consisted of melon
and pineapple. If you wanted berries they were by the melted chocolate. Strawberries were cut up and they had a small bowl of the mixed berries that you would use a tooth pick to get them. Clearly they did not want you to have too much.
Food was very average and that is being kind. Salmon was good. I guess it better be consdtering they are a seafood rest. Service was good.
All in all no way way would we go back. Yuck.. I am getting sick thinking about the meal.…
Loved everything i ate!. We went to celerbrate my huband's birthday. Was a very upscale! We had clam chowder, scallops for an app which was totally amazing! I ordered the stuffed salmon (it has blue crab, shrimp and brie) for the entree which was perfectly cooked! We also enjoyed oreo cheesecake for dessert! The service was awesome and everyone was very frendly. This is our new favorite place to go out to eat. But i'd highly recomend you leave the little ones at home! It was so nice to go out to eat with out having other people's kids ruin the dinner! I'm still thinking about the meal and can't wait to go back!!!…
What service. We waited 20 minutes we wated 20 minuters and nerver evben rterceived water. Not reccomended.
A Frustrating Double Date. Aside from being completely ignored, served cold coffee and Ahi Tuna that resembled cheap lunch meat from package, the ambient temperature was nice. I'm serious; I really could not believe how bad the service was. I was physically biting my tongue since my wife and I were out to dinner with a dear friend and his new gal pal, I was really trying to hold it together to not ruin the evening, except for that was out of my control. I politely paid the bill, tipped begrudgingly and walked to the nearest hole in the wall where I was served like a king for nearly a tenth of the price.…
Valentine's Dinner Average.
No doubt the seafood is fresh but after the entire experience, Mccormick & Schmick's leaves much to be desired. I mistakenly ordered Ahi Tuna which I thought was going to be more a tuna steak.
Instead, it was slices of tuna over seasoned with black pepper which spoiled the flavor. We also ordered king crab which was very good; obviously very fresh. Service was okay; the staff are very nice but the food came out at a crawling pace. If I spend 2 hours for dinner, I expect a 5 course meal at an even pace rather than a slow 3 course meal.
On a positive note, I truly enjoyed the crab cakes. They are fabulous. The tartar sauce and coleslaw perfectly complimented the crab cakes. I wouldn't mind going back to order the crab cake alone…
