In Short – Married owners Meerwais and Nicole Azizi opened this eatery in September 2000. This casual cafe features tile floors, a tiered fountain in the center of the dining room, and murals on all the walls. Homemade Afghani fare, including meat and spinach pies and baklava. Pizzas and American items are also available. Coffee and food can be ordered to go, but locals can be found grabbing chairs and taking in the charming atmosphere.

This is the ultimate pizza of pizzas. The shape, the crust and the taste are simply unique and unsurpassed. This is the first pizza that left me wanting more. It is accompianied with a green sauce that is completely outstanding. I can't say enough about this pizza. Don't miss out on this Football Masterpiece.
The BEST Kept Secret in Northeast

I regret not going to Crescent Moon sooner. I took my girl friend out to try something new and she suggested this awesome place. We ordered the Afghani combo for two and is was Amazing!!!. I went back with my buddies the next week and we had the Afghani combo for four and it was even better. The kabobs were so juciey and fresh. There was this awesome rice with raisins and carrots garnished on top and a tremendously outrageous green sauce. Crescent Moon is my next stop and I am going to take on their Afghani and Football pizzas. The secret is out. I am telling everyone about this place.
- Pros: Huge parking lot in back, awesome food
- Cons: no waitresses
Afghani pizza is amazing

Their Afghani pizza is incredible. I went there with 3 friends and 2 of us got the spinach tomato pizza (I think that was it), and 2 got the House special (beef, onions and green peppers). I was a bit iffy about the house special because green peppers can over take a pizza, but it was INCREDIBLE. Since my first trip there about 5 weeks ago I've been back 4 times, always delicious. The green dipping sauce is incredible, and it's prepared fairly quickly too. A must try.
Huge portions of food and friendliness

What a find. We always love experience just as much as the food but plan for plenty of time. It s a place to relax and take in the atmoshere. The gentleman who is generally there makes us feel very welcome. The pizza is fabulous. The spice and sauce gives it something that we can't find anywhere else. We wish it was closer to home because we normally drive for 40 minutes to get there. Right now my husband is going through chemotherapy that has changed his sense of taste and all he talks about is getting to the crescent moon when he can taste again!
- Pros: excellant food, diverse atmoshere
- Cons: can be slow
