Excellent food and service. The place has a great atmosphere and I really enjoyed the food.

Good food, slow service. Went for first time after reading good reviews. Food was good but service was slow. A wedding reception seemed to absorb the wait staff. Charlie's Exceptional Steak entree and chili were excellent. Salads were tasty also. However, entrees arrived 3 minutes after salads / soups; hadn't finished the salads yet. Tap beers were not available due to broken CO2 system. Ran out of Newcastle bottled beer. Second brandy and soda took 25 minutes. Took a long time to get the check. Server apologized frequently for poor service. Poor lighting on patio after sunset. We were told light bulbs were burnt out; had to request candles. Our impression was that, with the exception of the kitchen, the restaurant was poorly managed. It is a great setting but improvements are badly needed in the area of service if they expect to gain and retain customers.

Great patio atmosphere!. The Highlander patio is the best-kept secret of Maple Grove dining. Forget the overcrowded "restaurant row" and sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset and GREAT FOOD. I've had several entrees, and you can't go wrong with the steaks, walleye, or great burgers!

Best Steak...best everything!. My husband has been a cardholder at Rush Creek for a number of years, at least once a week he plays the course and my son and I meet him for dinner. My usual fare is the Charlie's Exceptional Steak....the name says it all! Who needs Manny's or Murray's when you can get a great steak dinner for such a resonable price. I suggest the sweet potato souffle for your potato choice...fantastic as well!

The service is top notch. The waitstaff are friendly and many great us by name (in fact most of them remember my order down to how I like my steak prepared).

We were so impressed by the food and service my husband and I were married and hosted our reception there.

TOP NOTCH!

A "Gimme" for Birthday and Anniversary Dinners. A great getaway with romantic views and a wonderful fireplace. The prices are reasonable and the food (especially the Prime Rib) is as good as anything you will find NW of the cities.

We are there at least once a month

Great service, great food, view is fantastic and personnel are very friendly.. The view from the resturants is very impressive. We eat there a number of times during the year and the food has always been great, prompt service and the personnel are very warm and friendly. There is no better place to go for a Sunday Brunch. Even with the high volume of people served, food quality and service is not affected. Oustanding.

Romance is in the air. In winter sitting in front of the fireplace at our favorite table for Valentine's or our Anniversay, or on the terrace overlooking the beautiful golf course in the summer, you would be hard-pressed to find a more romatic spot in the twin cities. Many of our favorite memories are enjoying the sites, friendly waitstaff and great food.

Best Brunch and Atmosphere. Sunday morning, my husband and I took our entire extended family to the "family brunch", which included 13 individuals with 5 grandkids (8, 5, 2.5, 9 months, and 3 months). We requested to be sat outside overlooking the pristine golfcourse. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. My father-in-law stated, "This is the most impressive scenery and dining experience I have ever had with the family."

Delightful Dining. The ambiance at the Highlander is second to none. The views of the golf course are exquisite and the dinner is delightful. My favorite entree is the RC Porterhouse. The Highlander advertises this steak as the "King of Kings" and they are not kidding. This steak is HUGE and bursting with flavor.
