Miss Arnellia's Place is THE best. Westside Band considers Arnellia's their "home".... a few years back, Miss Arnellia invited them to literally be the "house band" after we moved back to St. Paul, from Casper, Wyoming.

She helped us grow and we can't thank her enough.

Currently we get back about oncea month. And, as Tony says, its "home" to us.

Nice crowd. Great sound system. And, we like the wings.

The crowd is varied depending on time of day and who is entertaining. But, the service is aways with a smile. Most nights, Miss Arnellia herself is the cordial host. She is the heart and soul of Minnesota's "Apollo."

Thank you Miss Arnellia. Hope to be "home" again real soon.

University area supper club known for soul food and live music.. In Short
Arnellia's prides itself on being St. Paul's foremost purveyor of soul food with such staples as hominy grits and black-eyed peas. Go early and it will remind you of an old-fashioned supper club for the over-50 set. If there's a local jazz combo onstage at night, the vibe can be cool, relaxing with a touch of class. If it's a disco night, with currently popular R&B on tap, the crowd can be mixed.
