In Short
This sunny clean corner shop brims with energy, crowds and reasonably priced fare. Photos of snow-capped Himalayas grace the walls, and the two rooms are filled with happy folks, chowing down and conversing. Menu highlights feature potato/pea samosa, Tibetan dumplings and Nepalese curries. There's also momos: steamed or buttery pan-fried dumplings of herb accented meats and vegetables. The fine daal-bhaat (complete curried meals served with basmati rice) are filling and come with dessert.

We loved the momos! As someone who can't have dairy because of allergies we found this to be a good place with reasonable options with and without dairy.

The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, with a staff that is always friendly, knowledgable (for those not acquainted with Nepalese and Tibetan food) and efficient. The food is fantastic, especially their momos (steamed dumplings). I recommend the yak momo, as the yak are actually raised in Minnesota, which is always a plus. The tea is dutifully replenished, the soup is flavorful and the llunch buffet never fails and changes every day. Beautiful. One of my favorite gems of the Twin Cities!
