Yes kids, there are boundries in life. The owners were so good to me. I was looking to relocate to Linden Hillls and they went out of their way to help me with local info.

And limiting the area of laptop users is a great idea and I'm one of those users. Since when did someone owe me a free place to park my asp and do biz for free? A good coffee house is for drinking and talking, not staring down at your screen all day or yacking on your mobile phone.

Why do things cost money? To cover the costs of bringing you the thing, but also, it seems that "free" just gets beat up and left for dead too often. Buy food, beans, et al at your better coffee places, lest they go away and you have to buy Wifi from ATT or Intel.

Boycott it!. New owners bought this DB about a year ago and put in a ton of money on the decor, etc. Unfortunately, they also installed a poor customer service attitude. They glare at you, approach your table to tell you you have to purchase something in order to stay while you're settling in with your computer, and leave notes on the table threatening to unseat customers (wifi/computer users) if they've been there too long and other customers need a seat AND threatening to not offer wifi anylonger. I have boycotted for about a year, preferring SEBASTIAN JOE'S cheer and sunroom just around the corner, or Java Jack's on 46th/Bryant or another DB at Henneping/34th (different owner). I also see a bunch of old regulars at these new locations and we share the same storyof boycotting the place. The owners are a terrible addition to the great Linden Hills neighborhood.

Local franchise beckons everyone from business professionals to soccer moms with fresh roasted beans.. In Short
Ed Dunn admits to tinkering with computerized roasting a few years back, but soon the Dunn Bros founder realized that on-site, hands-on TLC was better than impersonal high-tech beaning. All Dunn's employees are trained to be roasters, the coffee is served up knowledgeably, and the high quality is consistent across all locations. The crowds are more strong dark-roast than a light latte-frappe-mocha one, plus there are those who grab a sandwich on their lunch breaks.
