I've seen better...

I have been to the Sanctuary several years ago and recently went back for some spa services. Overall, the salon is not too bad.. just outdated and in need of some renovations. Locker room and massage waiting area are not great, front desk and spa staff wonderful! Prices are high considering the facility, services make up for it though
- Pros: Large range of services, large staff
- Cons: Salon in desperate need of renovation

Outdated & overrated!

I went to this spa because it was rated so highly with awards etc. I walked in to one girl at the front desk swarmed by a line of customers. (apparently they do not have enough staff on hand) After waiting for around 10 min, I was checked in by a dark haired, unprofessional looking manager. She informed me I was late (obviously-I'd been waiting in like!) & rushed back to the spa. Not only was there a shortage on locker keys (I had to change while the manager waited with a master key), their waiting room is so small I had to sit in between 2 males-rather uncomfortable. The massge was amazing, the therapist was very professional & knew exactly what to do for my back. After the massage, I waited in my robe for the manager to come unlock my locker, she didn't seem too thrilled to help as she was texting behind the desk when I approached her. I would have enjoyed a shower but both were occupied so instead I changed and went to the front to take care of my bill. After waiting for several minutes for the ONE receptionist, I was on my way out of there never to go back again! All in all, the place is outdated, understaffed and the management snotty (with no reason to be!) Go to spalon, juut or some other place that doesn't skimp on their staffing and amenities to their customers who are paying for an enjoyable experience!

I got burned

I was burned by the wax after going in for a eye brow wax, the person I dont remember her name didnt tell me and both eyes were done. I had two large red burns where she had waxed that stayed for 3-4 days. I was not scarred only very scared and very insulted. When I complained I was told not to come back.to their salon.
- Pros: It smells nice and the salon is decorated well
- Cons: Snotty rude stuck up staff.
