NOT TOO GOOD. I EAT OUT NEARLY EVERYDAY AND LIKE TO TRY NEW RESTARAUNTS. GOT WORD THIS WAS GOOD. TRIED IT. NOT GOOD IN MY OPINION. MY FAVORITE PLACE IS ATLANTIC BUFFET IN BLOOMINGTON. TAKE THE EXTRA TIME TO DRIVE THERE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, GUARANTEED.…
Not worth it. I was not impressed. We ordered for pick up and the food was much smaller portions than I was use to. We got home and there was hair in the food. It is nice to have Indian food in the area, but I will take the drive next time.…
A hidden treasure in Woodbury!. India Palace in Woodbury is a total hidden treasure. It offers an amazing, reasonably priced buffet along with many spectacular menu choices, like our favorite ~ chicken mushroom! We are a family of 6 and from our 5 year old to our 15 year old; India Palace is loved by all. The servers there are kind and courteous and pay special attention to the younger kids in the group. They are also willing to give an opinion, if you request it and we've found many of their recommendations to be right on the money! I'd give this 6 stars if I could and guarantee anyone who tries it, will be craving it again and again.…
Indian food as good as any in my Indian neighborhood in NYC.
Until just a few years ago I lived in an Indian neighborhood in NYC - I've been to superb Indian restaurants, and I would rank the food here with the best I had in New York City. They will make it as
spicy or as mild as you want, the service is solicitous and friendly, the ambience is comfortable and good for family dining. If you are new to Indian cuisine, by all means try to lunch buffet, but, do go on the weekend when there are more selections.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I love the vegetarian selections here, and the breads are wonderful. I generally avoid desserts at Indian restaurants, they tend to be too sweet, but try kulfi (Indian ice cream) if they have it.
I would have given India Palace 5 stars, but, they do not deliver, and they do not have South Indian foods as well. India is a large and diverse country, with many different cuisines - I'd love to find a place where I can get foods from the south as well.…
