Great choice! RT @jasongrill: Had my 1st culvers experience today. The Colby Jack Pub Burger was awesome. Don't know why I waited so long. Reply Retweet Favorite 11 hours ago

Tips for Culver's

This all-American burger chain's reputation floats on fresh ingredients, friendly service and homemade custard.. In Short
Founded in 1984, this family-friendly restaurant is recognizable by its bright blue roof and stark white interior. The menu includes pork, chicken and fish dinners, accompanied by fries or mashed potatoes, coleslaw and a roll. The signature item is the ButterBurger, which is made from scratch with never-frozen, 100-percent U.S.-raised beef and served on a lightly buttered bun. Dessert options, such as the Turtle Sundae and Concrete Malt, feature homemade frozen custard.

WORST FISH SANDWICH EVER -- FISHY! DON'T BUY.. THE DRIVE THRU SERVICE WAS FAST--.HOWEVER THE FOOD WAS SO BAD WE HAD TO THROW IT OUT . i PAID $12.52 FOR TWO FISH (wALLEYE) SANDWICHES AND TWO FRIES. i HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH AN AWFUL SANDWICH BEFORE. THE SIZE OF THE FISH WAS ABOUT 1 IN. (MAYBE 11/2 INCH)WIDE AND HAD SKIN ON IT. tHE ONLY TASTE IT HAD WAS "FISHY". i TOOK ONE BITE - GAVE IT TO MY SON WHO SAID HE WOULD TRADE.. BUT WE BOTH ENDED UP THROWING THE SANDWICHES OUT AFTER TWO AND THREE BITES. THE FRIES WERE OKAY BUT VERY DRY AND WE NEEDED TO WASH THOSE DOWN.

i THINK THE BURGERS ARE OKAY. BUT i WOULD NEVER EVER GET FISH THERE AGAIN. TOO BAD - THEY USED TO HAVE FABULOUS FISH. NO LONGER!!!!

Burger Bliss?. Very tasty burgers. The beef is lean and fresh, but they replace the fat with butter instead. This is probably why they call 'em "butter burgers." So it's still a little greasy. Just a little salty too. If they put it together with a larger bun they'd be #1 in my book. Stay with a single burger instead of the double and you'll be OK. (Especially the bacon cheeseburger!) Throw in one of the best malts in town and some 1950's fries & your set. Many other good menu choices as well. There's a wait in line but not terribly long.

Poor & Slow. I visited the restaurant at 2:00PM on a Friday and I couldn't believe the restaurant was busy. After I waited 10 minutes for my hamburger I figured out why Culver's was still busy at 2:00 when the other fast food establishments in the area were done with their lunch rush. They were still trying to serve the customers who intended to eat there for lunch but were still waiting for their food. If you are looking for a quick sandwich, this is not the place to go.

It ain't L.A.. My cousin raved about Culver's so we went on a weekday afternoon. The service was S-L-O-W. She said, "It's worth the wait." Unh hunh! NOT! First of all, it took FOREVER! At 'least' 30 minutes, could have been 45. The server was very abrupt with us, not friendly AT ALL! Then they got our order wrong! Left out some items we ordered but charged us for them. My cousin admitted, "It's happened before." And after all this, the food was nothing to right home about. Maybe it's because (being from L.A.) we have great places like Tommy's and In-n-Out.

Wonderful Place!!. This is a wonderful change from the typical fast food. Yes it is still fast food, but your order is only cooked when you actually order. It is not preprepared burgers heated in a microwave. The staff is wonderful and treats you almost like a member of their own family.

Homemade Burgers. Their hamburgers taste as good as my home made hamburgers. They're not too greasy. They have great service compared to McDonald's and Burger King. They are very friendly and they make you feel at home.
