Sweet tooths line up for ice cream concoctions made on a granite slab..
In Short
Crowds of couples, teenagers and parents with toddlers press up against the long refrigerated display case at this dessert chain, where a variety of ice creams, frozen yogurts and sorbets are made in-store daily. Customers choose flavors like sweet cream, cake batter or banana, add mix-ins--ranging from candy bar chunks and Gummi bears to hot fudge and peanut butter--then servers mash it all together on a frozen slab of granite.
just ok. Hard to pass on ice cream, but this place has a few negatives that would make me go somewhere else next time: long lines, high price.
Cold Stone is simply the best!. I go to this location once a week. I know from experience that the lines can be long, the lobby can be crowded, and sometimes you'd like to run before they ding that bell and sing. I recently had a talk to their ONLY manager there, a wonderful young woman who showed amazing interest in her employee's and her work. I've been there winter and summer and I'm surprised that month after month, season after season that she turns out such amazing customer service along with her employee's. Once you walk in and let the employee's help you (don't ignore their helpful suggestions!) you'll be charmed by them, and soon get to know them by name as I have. There is just something about this C.S. that makes it like a family and you their newest family member, and I recommend this location without a doubt as the best! KUDOS!
MMMMMM...GOOD?. I stopped by this location today on my way home from being laid off today. I just needed something sweet to help me along. I walked in and was amazed at the energy and charisma this place had. Not only was every person working there helpful and friendly I had some of the best ice cream I've ever had! I will be telling all of my friends about this!
Ice Cream + Great Staff = Great Time. I have been going to Cold Stone for the past year, and I have become extremely fond not only of the ice cream, but also of the staff. There are some employees that don't offer great customer service, but there are many that make the experience lots of fun! If you have had a bad experience here in the past, I recommend you try it again because chances are you'll have a change of heart. The kids there are always smiling and laughing even when there is line wrapping around the store 10 minutes after they were supposed to close. And for those of you who are bothered by the singing, just simply ask them not to sing and they will refrain. I hope this helps everyone out, and I hope you all have a good experience.
DELICIOUS. I am so impressed by how the workers here stay friendly even though it gets really busy in there! Thanks guys, you're the best!!!!!
YUMMMMMMMMMMY!!!!. I went to Cold Stone in search of a new experience different from Dairy Queen. I loved it! The service was great and the ice cream was wonderful! I had the Cheesecake Fantasy, which is cheesecake ice cream with strawberries, blueberries, and graham cracker pie crust. It was the best ice cream I have ever had! Thanks Cold Stone!!!!!
I SCREAM!!. Cold Stone Creamery in Maple Grove has the BEST ice cream I've ever had in my life!!!!!!! They have sooooo many different flavors and mix ins it will take you a billion years to get all the different combos. They put the other ice cream stores to shame! Vote MAPLE GROVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best...hands down. As an avid Blizzard fan all my life, I have found my new replacement for the DQ classic. Coldstone's ice cream is great, the mix-ins are really tasty, and its just a fun place to go. They have a few locations inthe cities now, including Block E downtown.
Greatest Ice Cream Of The US.
Reccently, while my Wife and I were on our honeymoon in Hawaii, we got the pleasure of trying Cold Stone. First, I want to tell you I am deffinately not a big ice cream fan (typically I'd prefer to buy a quart, and eat it at home; that is until I found Cold Stone) and on top of that, I'm not too keen on big chains. While in Hawaii my wife and I ate there many times and just love the place. It by far tops baskin robins and any local creamery. The price is a tad up there, but it is most deffinately worth it. Since, being back here in Minneapolis we have not had the privelege of trying the local stores, but if they are even 1 tenth of the Hawaii store they'll be fantastic!!!!
P.S. Give them a tip and have the sing, it's histarical!
