I drive miles out of my way for this.... This is just good food. Family made, always fast EXTREMELY nice staff. We order take out all the time, but it's so nice to sit down in a place where they will recognize you. It's simplicity is it's hallmark. Fried dumplings here are great. They are masters of stocks and soup, hot & sour here is a must try.

Best Chinese food this side of the pacific. I've been to China many times and this is the most authentic and tastiest chinese food I've found in the cities. Its family run, and very friendly. I go there about once a week, they know me, and just how I like my dishes prepared. The cream cheese wontons are made fresh daily, and are a must try. All dishes are made with fresh ingredients and no MSG.

They also have a lunch buffet served until 2:00, take out and delivery.

Not the good close Chinese place we hoped for. Crinkle cut carrots and average food that was not fresh were not what we were looking for. The restaurant seemed nice and the employees were nice, but the food just was uninspired - even for cheap take out. I'm sure others may enjoy it (that's why we went, because of the reviews here) - but we did not.

Best Cheese puffs. I and my husband go to this place almost 2-3 times a week. They have the amazing cheese wontons (the best in the city), hot and sour soup and jumbo shrimp.......I am already hungry.

Best chinese food and reasonable prices. Their buffet is also very good.

Located in a hard-to-find strip mall off of 35W, this restaurant is sought-out by foodies searching for fresh Chinese fare.. In Short
The carpeted space is immaculate and coolly tranquil, with understated touches of color on the walls. The menu is brimming with choices--pork, duck, squid, scallops---all Hunan- and Szechuan-style. Everything is prepared with care, flair and precision, including the Chinese appetizer dumplings, steamed or pan-fried little pockets of fragrant fillings. Preserved mandarin orange peels are added to beef sirloin slices, crispy outside, tender within. Dessert includes steamed, silky twist bread.

Come here for Chinese!. Imagine an inexpensive Chinese restaurant, run by courteous owners who are concerned about your dining experience. Add a menu with variety whose dishes don't taste exactly the same. Toss in fresh ingredients, great prices, and this is your place.

Hidden Gem. New Hong Kong Wok has amazingly good, fresh Chinese food for a restaurant in Minnesota. The combination plates are HUGE (I have never been able to finish one in a single sitting) and very inexpensive compared to Leann Chin. No MSG and lots of fresh, crispy vegetables only add to the appeal of the food, plus the employees are just about the nicest people you will ever meet in a restaurant. The takeout is super speedy, too (I always get my meals in under ten minutes). Mmm... I'm craving the Hunan chicken right now!

Excellent food and value!. My boyfriend and I get take out from the New Hong Kong Wok at least once every few weeks. The food is always excellent and an outstanding value. What I love the most is that they allow me to order my own customized dish (who needs a menu!), and they are one of the few asian restaurants left in the Twin Cities that still serves mock duck (my favorite). They do wonderful things with seafood of all types and duck, so order something different from time to time, but don't forget an order of steamed or fried dumplings...

great chinese food.. Excellent food, great prices, what more can I say. The service is friendly. Atmosphere comfortable. The orange beef is awesome!

No MSG. Great food and very reasonable prices. I appreciate that they don't use MSG. There was a small problem with a coupon that was misprinted but it was worth the hassle.
