Great Eats!. Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano is very close to work. The ceasar salad is the BOMB!! Ambience is tres romantic, and childrens meals are a very good deal :)
Suburban Chain food. The food was fine if you have never had real Italian food or if you never leave the Suburbs. It definitely ranks above Olive Garden but I don't think that is saying much. Our server didn't even know what Carpaccio was when I ordered it. He also needed help getting the cork out of the bottle. Maybe more attention to service would help. Not to be too critical because one pasta dish we had was quite good. Overall I think we will give up on Suburban dining!
Great place for bridal shower!. Biaggi's is an awesome, delicious and gorgeous resturaunt. I love their food and they have very friendly servers. The manager is very nice as well! I had my bridal shower there this past June (2006) and their wine room is a gorgeous setting for a bridal shower. The whole staff was very nice and helpful, and the food is incredible!! I would definately recommend this to anyone who is interested in great steak and italian food.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Italian restaurant chain serves house-made pizzas, oven roasted duck, lobster and shrimp stuffed trigger fish and traditional lasagnas.
Tasty Italian!. My husband and I went here for valentines day. He planned the whole thing and when he told me we were going to the Eden Prairie Mall, I admit I was slightly worried. But we had a great experience. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and the booth we sat at in the back felt very private. The service was good, but food and wine were definately the highlight of the night. I can't remember the name of my dish, but it was a cheese ravioli and seriously probably the most delicious Italian dish I have ever tried!
Best Restaurant You'll EVER find in a Mall.. Forget where you are and step into a metropolitan-style Italian Eatery. The restaurant is nicely done and large for a mall location. It's a bit noisy and crowded, but you'll forget that when you taste the inventive flavors from the menu (try the Balsamic Vinegar glaze!). It's "upscale" Italian, not "home-cooking" and certainly not the American "chain restaurant-style" Italian. Some dishes are generous (Marsala), others not so generous (Ravioli). The server's are happy to answer any questions you have about the extensive menu and offer recommendations. On a Saturday evening, our wait was longer, but not too long and it's well worth the wait. They have a Wine Room (which is also used for private parties), but don't expect fine wines - mostly young California wines here. Overall, I loved this restaurant, it's my new favorite in the TC area.
Third and last visit. First visit was for appetizers and thought they were very good. Second visit was a service disaster. We were served cold food by a waiter who dissapeared until it was time to drop off the check. The manager did appologize and after reading other reviews thought we would give it one more try. Service was better but the food.....not so. Menu didn't mention that the Linguini with clam sauce also contained many, many schards of shell....a crunch in every other bite. No offer to replace unedible food. My wife's shrimp and scallops had a very strong charred flavor that we both found overwhelming and distastfull & was dry. We have struck this place off our list. Too bad...it is a charming place.
Not the real deal. very dissapointed. The carpaccio was served ice cold, it should be served room temp. The veal scallopine was so TUFF, that you had to use a steak knife. Being born and raised in the EAST, Iknow and can cook great Itlian. This place is nice,Chef-Boy-AR-Dee works inthe kitchen.
