I recently purchased a 2-year old Kia
Sorento from Jeff Belzer. My sales person, Kara Little, was very helpful and appeared knowledgeable until I committed to purchasing the car. At that point, everything went down hill. After coming in to test drive the vehicle and put money down to hold it, I made an appointment to come back and sign the loan paperwork and get the car. It should have taken 15 minutes, but they were "backed up" so it took 4 hours. As a courtesy, they offered to fill the gas tank of my newly purchased vehicle, as it is their policy to only give you 5 gallons. When I got into the car, they only filled 2/3 of the tank.
It is now 3 weeks after my purchase, and I've had multiple problems that they have not helped me resolve. On top of problems with the window opener and gear shift, they also failed to mail the paperwork for my title/registration. My temporary permit has now expired and the state does not have the application, meaning that I have to park my vehicle in a private lot for 2-3 weeks until they receive the paperwork and process it, to give me temporary driver's license plates.
I followed up with Kara and their GM, Gary Lange, multiple times with no assistance. They do not return phone calls or e-mails, and the one time that we actually spoke, they were able to offer no assistance or compensation except a weak apology with no explanation as to why this happened. I would not trust that they are capable of executing their responsibilities, so go to a dealership that knows what they are doing.
By the way,I don' recommend,bad experience with kia they've been working on car for 2 weeks.No offer of loaner,car isn't even a year old,recall.Guess we bought the car because we didn't need to use it
My husband and I had been researching cars for the past few months. We decided to read some reviews from Jeff Belzer's and came across a saleman by the name of Gil Boyle. He was recommended the most by others, so we decided to speak with Gil for our car buying experience.
Gil was very professional and was very attentive in answering all of our questions. We had such a great experience that we ended up buying two cars that day because Jeff Belzer gave us a great price! They also gave us great value on our trade-ins.
Jim McMahon was also very helpful with financing our cars.
I believe it is very important for consumers to do their research and understand the negotiating process prior to purchasing a new car.
If you need a new vehicle, don't hesitate calling Jeff Belzer's! YOU will be glad you did!
bad - that's all - just bad. After a thoroughly nauseating car-buying experience, where I was thrice asked "what my deal was" by an overbearing sales manager (because I didn't want to make an instant purchase), and was told "What do you expect? This ain't McDonalds" when I asked why I was left waiting for half and hour with no communication . . . after all of this, my husband bought a car here anyway. He did it, because it was the only place within a 500 mile radius that had this particular van in this particular color. Jeff Belzer's of Lakeville basically held the car hostage - wouldn't let any other dealer sell it to us. And then - THEN, had the audacity to tell us they would only sell us this car for a fair price IF we took our poor reviews off of google and facebook. No kidding - the sales manager actually came up to my husband in the dealership, rubbed his shoulders mafioso style and whispered in his ear, "uh just don't forget about that little deal we made." (there was no "deal" made - and if it were up to me - would have been no car bought). Best part is this - when they FINALLY condescended to sell us a $26,000 brand-new-car . . . the power door was broken, and the overhead storage compartment wouldn't close. Crappy service and even crappier car - fantastic. Not the car buying experience we were hoping for.
Excellent Vehicle Purchase Experience!. My wife and I started looking for a new car and had a really bad experience at another dealership. We called Jeff Belzer's Dodge and talked to Gil Boyle. From the beginning, Gil was excellent and went above and beyond our expectations in assisting us to find a new vehicle. Gil made the entire vehicle purchasing experience quick and enjoyable. The other staff we dealt with were also exceptional, and we were very impressed with the quality of service and everything about the dealership (cleanliness, friendliness, etc.). The dealership is over an hour from our house, but we will definitely recommend this dealer to others and will almost definitely be back for our future vehicle needs.
The Chief (Joe Paseka) Rocks!. I just had a great experience buying a new vehicle with Jeff Belzer's Chevrolet, Dodge, Kia in Lakeville, MN on Saturday 14 April 2012. The entire process, from start to finish, was done with outstanding professionalism and care to my needs. I have bought over 46 vehicles in my life and this experience ranks in the top 5. My sales professional was Joe Paseka. He is very knowledgeable, a great listener, and even though he is retired US Air Force (I am retired US Navy!) I found him to be extremely personable and professional. I would also like to commend the Sales Manager, Dean Dreckman, for helping Joe and I work through the sale and delivery of my new 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. I strongly suggest giving Joe, Dean, John Steffen and the miracle worker, Jim McMahon a chance at winning your business!!! OBTW the title of the review refers to the fact that Joe is a retired United States Air Force Chief Master Sergeant. He definitely knows the meaning of service, both to his country and his customers!
