My husband enjoys the beer selection and the Elk and Bison options for Burgers. They nickel and dime you to death if you want anything extra. $1 for a single tomato slice for a burger...a $1 for a few extra celery slices with the wings. I ordered a Diet Sierra Mist and the menu says free refills but when the bill came they charged me for every extra refill that I had. The waitress removed the extra charges, but I had to ask. Asked to have bison meat on my taco salad and they said they would do it but when the bill came they charged $5 extra. So beware, because they don't offer the information up when you ask for ANYTHING extra. Make sure you check your tab before you pay.

You can't beat the Buffalo Tap!!. This is my favorite place to relax and recover from the work week. People know your name, remember your favorite drink, talk smack about sports and they serve a most excellent buffalo burger.

The Tap is not fancy, the staff and owner are locals and the people next to you at the bar are likely your neighbors!!

When I am in the mood to fight traffic, pay to park and wait in line - I go downtown. When I want to relax, shoot the breeze and have a drink - I go to the Buffalo Tap...

This restaurant should be out of business. We have been there on a few occasions, however only because someone we know works there. If it wasnt for her, we would not go again. The other wait staff are rude, and dont care if they take your order or not. The owner nickle and dimes you on everything. For the prices they charge you would think you were at an upper scale restaurant, and its just a hole in the wall bar. Dont go there!

Needs a new owner. Too bad...this place could use a new owner....look on YELP...I am not the only one that can see this.

New owner makes this place much better. I had been in this place place 2 times in 2 years but over the past month I have been here 8. Happy hour is very good and they have the best vodka anywhere (Effen) 1.00 tap Grainbelts from 2:00 to 6:00 and dollar food as well. Crowd can be a little rough but friendly.

what a dive. this place is a dive. drinks are watered down, staff is rude, and the bar is lame. game room in the basement double as a hick make-out room.

good food, great people... a friendly place. i love this place. everybody is friendly and they really take care of you. a great place to spend an afternoon or an evening. good food, great drinks and fair prices, one of my favorite places in the area, thanks to the buffalo tap and everybody that works there for the great times

Fun, relaxed and good eats. I happened on this place by accident, but I'm glad I did. It May be my favorite wings to date. Expect a VERY relaxed atmosphere, from the paper plates and plastic forks to the relaxed attitude of the servers and you'll enjoy yourself. The burgers are good, but I go for the wings - try the garlic.

Live music on the weekends, full bar, Golden Tee, bubble hockey and a few other things to keep you entertained. Quality, locally owned eatery.

Romantic Hide-a-way. This is a great place for a first date. Also you can see a lot of local sports celebrities here too. It is in my opinion, it is the premier spot south of the river to see, and to be seen by other people. Great singles hangout.

Best Burgers in Town and Cheap. The Buffalo Tap has the best burgers in the Twin Cities area and they are cheap too.. Great Food at a great price.. The Wings are also excellent.
