Agree, not good. It's been a few years since I ate at Magic Thai's lunch buffet. They used to have a pretty decent selection but sadly the place has really gone downhill. Their yellow curry was primarily onions, in fact onions dominated most of the vegetable dishes. There were none of the ususal Thai flavors and spices one would expect, absolutely no kick, all of the food on the buffet was of very poor quality. There was no one in the restaurant during peak lunch time which should have been a sign. I have to give this restaurant a never again. Save your money and go anywhere else including picking up a sandwich at the gas station next door.…
Not good. I love good Thai food when it's done right. I decided to stop by Magic Thai on my lunch break to give them a try. I got the Red Curry Chicken lunch special. It seemed like a really good deal. It was ready really quickly and the guy taking my order was really nice & friendly. He recommended the red curry dish. However, as I was driving back to work, the smell coming from the bag was not smelling promising. I took about three bites and could not eat anymore. The flavor was off and did not taste right. The cream cheese wontons were barely fried and were not at all edible I think the egg roll would have been good if it was fresh, but it was totally soggy and old. All and all, I will not be back. It was a waste of money and very disappointing.…
Buffet features little Thai food. Flavors superior to most Chinese restaurants.
We were a little disappointed that most of the food on the buffet was more likely to be seen in a Chinese restaurant. However, the spicing was very good.
The Thai salad was as we expected light with the taste of fresh herbs. The chicken wings had an unusual and delicious flavor with a touch of sweetness. Most of the hot meals on the buffet were unusual versions of Chinese cuisine. Lo-mien, Chow mien, Garlic Chicken, Sweet and Sour...
Still the kitchen took some liberties with the recipes and, we think, improved them by adding unique flavors and appearances.
We recommend this restaurant but next time we will order off the menu.…
Yeah, no. Go to Taste of Thailand in Apple Valley if you must stay in the burbs. Otherwise venture into St. Paul and go to Pad Thai or the original Taste of Thailand. In Minneapolis go to Sawatdee. Their egg rolls here are tasty though.…
Best Thai Foods. Everything are so good. I couldn't stop eating. Their chicken wings and Pod thai are my Favorite.
