My friends and I stopped to get an idea of what shapes my bridesmaids would like and left Davids Bridal never wanting to shop for bridesmaid dresses again. The store was dirty, the dresses were dated and the staff was crabby and frantic. We all went for a drink after this stop. That was the best part of the night!

Wedding dress hunting ground for real-world brides on a budget. Princesses need not apply.. In Short
A chic, sleek boutique, it's not. But those willing to look carefully will likely find a big-time bargain. The staff is helpful and knows the merchandise but doesn't provide extensive one-on-one attention or advice. Stores (particularly on weekends) can be swamped with brides-to-be. David's specializes in beaded satin A-lines and simple lace sheaths that just hit the $500 mark. Most labels are tasteful but of medium-quality: Gloria Vanderbilt, Lady Eleanor, Oleg Cassini and the likes.

Cheap Dresses. I was recently in David's Bridal Maple Grove. I was not as happy as I thought I was going to be. Although they had very cute bridesmaids dresses, I was not satisfied with the wedding dresses. I had been to a few other places before this and let me tell you, for the same prices, David's Bridal dresses seemed to be cheap. Also the help was ok. She was good at getting dresses for me, but was not as friendly as I would've liked. The dresses look great online or in catalog, but after trying them on I found nothing I wanted and am not going back there, except to maybe get the bridesmaids dresses.
