No rush here!. After being a client at many top named salons in the area, I was relieved to find myself in Details (Highland). I was so tired of being rushed in and out of my cut appointments, while still paying top dollar for a mediocre cut. That is not the case at Details. They really take the time to care for your hair. I have now switched all my salon services to Details, after finding that the entire salon staff is top notch.

Favorite place in St. Paul. I love going to Details for it's great atmosphere, skilled staff and easy parking. Bonus on the head massage and you can't beat laying on a bed while you get your hair washed.

It's all in the Details. I've been going to Details for years and have enjoyed every minute and dime I've spent there. Everyone there is amazingly helpful and educated in their areas of expertise. I highly recommend checking this salon out for yourself!

For Details, it's all in the Details. I love going to Details. They are very concerned with your total relaxation and satisfaction. I have, thus far, utilized their services for haircuts and manicures. I love getting my haircut by Deanna...she is a great talent but also a joy to talk to! One manicure, in particular, stands out in my mind. I accidentally dropped my wedding ring. Three hours later, with lots of help and Brian Horst himself showing up to lend a hand, we found it! Give Details a try, you won't be sorry. They are so nice and the services are excellent! Love that Aveda tea also!

Worth the $250 Flight!. I've been going to Details since it opened. I love the salon. Brian is cordial and very generous- Deatils had donated door prizes for a fundraiser I was having a few years back. I live in NYC now and for the same service and expertise I easily spend $300+. Details is such a deal to me that it's worth the $200-250 flight to go, visit friends and get my hair done. But I have one question? Where's Peter? He was awesome- get him back if you can! By the way- I always park around the back and have never had a problem!

Another Boring St Paul Salon. Aparently Details salon is not considering the Details. Here is no parking and the staff seems almost rushed. There pedicure room is to small and they dont seem to have enuff color people. I feel you can save your money and go to a more established company and get a better service.

If you're picky about your hair, go to D. I've been going to Details since it opens. Brian specializes in well trained, happy employees in a small salon where people know your name and treat you well. I've never been disappointed with the service or my haircuts. I highly recommend the Highland location and the new downtown St. Paul location to anyone wanting great salon sevices in an intimate and friendly environment.
