Tom (no ethics) Benson. Actually I know Tom's cell number (if he still has that turned on) its 612-226-3972. I know that he lives in Northfield, MN with his wife and 3 children. I feel sorry for his family!! Especially his kids! His wife could have left-his children are just along for the ride. I also know he drives a piece of sh*t old gold Nissan Maxima! I feel bad for everyone who had ever went there. Good Luck!

Tom Benson is a loser of a business owner.. I had been going to AMI since 2002. I LOVED the place. I LOVED the girls! When Tom Benson took over the place went downhill fast! I got to the point where I wanted my money back on packages and never wanted to step foot in the door. I should have known that something was going on when the staff would be different every visit! I would make an appointment with one of the girls, and the next time I went in, she would be gone already! The staff spoke very poorly of the owner. WHAT A JOKE! He ripped alot of people off.

contact the eagan police. If you bought a package and gave this guy hundreds or thousands and he doesn't deliver the services this is theft and is a crime. I filed a criminal complaint with the eagan police department and although I respect and know the police have many important things to do, it is important that people like this aren't allowed to steal from hard working good people. Time in the county jail will serve this guy properly wouldn't you agree. I may never get my thousand, back but I willl be there in court to see what he has coming to him.

Tom Benson is a sheister!!!!!!!!!. I am not remotely surprised to see that Advanced Medical Institute has finally gone under. Every time i went to get a laser hair removal the machine would stop and the poor girls had to scrable to get a new machine the finish the service. the handpieces were in a very distresses state. they were always cracked and dirty. one girl even told me that the owner, who was on bad terms with the laser people, resorted to making his own coolant to put in the machines. there were many times when i was there that i owerheard talk at the desk of creditors calling and eviction notices. i tried to get my money back once and was outright refuse by the owner, Tom Benson. in the last month or so the ENTIRE staff changed. there wasn't 1 signle face i recognized when i went there. the last girl who did my laser treatment had to have someone come in and make sure that the laser wasn't set too high cuase she thought she burned me. the only reasoin i stayed this long was becuase i had put a lot of money into the package. half or the time i called for an apointment they wouldn't answer at all. when i did get through to make an apt there wasn't a single people i recognized to do treatments. and apointments were always canceled. if by some miracle i did get an apt i would wait almost an hour in the waiting room!!! once the girl who i was suppose to have seem came out of the treatment room and looked like she was ready to have a nervous breakdown and almost in tears. thankfully i finished all but 2 of my laser sessions before they went under. the one thing that scares me is having my file there with all my personal medical info in it!!!!!!! half the time i went there they couldn't find my file anyways. all in all, i think we are all better off without people and businesses like this out there. i do lament for those who still have treatments and money invested that they will likely never see. i would recommend a class action suit to those who lost money from here. this man is a shiester

Class Action Law suit. I too have paid & lost outstanding sessions due to AMI going out of business. Does anyone know if there is a Class Action law suit open? Please contact me or post info. Thanks!

OUT OF BUSINESS, WITH MY MONEY. I still have two treatments left on a very expensive package. My appointments have been canceled 3 times in the last two weeks. Nobody answers the phone, but when I finally got through to tell them I want my money back, this idiot, Tom Benson, had the audacity to try to talk me into another package. I told him I wanted my money back and he kept talking and talking and talking. I asked him one more time for my money back and he asked me to come in so they could do a free skin analysis. This guy is a complete fool. Go somewhere else and if you think you'll get your money back, good luck!

OUT OF BUSINESS!. I find it amazing that HEARTOFGOLD wrote the review about her friend with cancer, espcecially after finding out that the owner has indeed, run the business into the ground. The timing is perfect. Get HEARTOFGOLD to write a fantastic review, lure customers in, make a few sales... then BAM! Ouf of nowhere, the doors are closed. The owner probably paid this person to write this review!

In short, the Clinicians were fantastic but were under the control of a terrible businessman. I feel sorry for the girls who have had to work there. I had been going to AMI for years and once ownership changed, the entire business took a turn for the worse. Great gals bad owner... and don't waste your money on injection services there - SCARY!

the owner has a heart of gold. The owner, Tom Benson, provided free skin treatments for a dear friend of mine who recently passed away from cancer. I know this meant a great deal to her to know that she was loved and cared about. I think she felt bad about the appearance of her skin. She was a beautiful woman and years of chemotherapy took a toll on her skin. Tom made sure that he did what he could to help her feel better about her looks by encouraging her to come in and providing free services to her. He is an owner with a heart of gold.

This place is scary. I've been a customer here for over two years. The quality and service was spectacular when I started; then they changed ownership. I had the same clinician for over a year and then she was gone without an explanation. Then about a month later the clinician I had told me that she was leaving. In the past 6-8 months, I've had 3 new clinicians all of which were new and have now left. I've actually showed up for a treatment and the clinicians were locked out because the new owner hadn't showed up. When he did show up, he was apologetic, but he wouldn't stop talking. It couldn't have been more clear that I wasn't interested in his stupid story. Now, I can't even get in. I've had my last 3 appointments canceled and when I try to reschedule, nobody answers. Stay AWAY!

Hair Transplant Experience. I went in for a free consultation and they rushed me to sign up and put 1000 down with no money back if I changed my mind and no references. They are looking for your money only with very poor service. I was made many promises by the owner/operator of Advanced Medical Institute, Tom Benson, about the price and the coverage my hair implants. They did not follow through on either promise. This was a very costly procedure. He charged me more immediately after the surgery and 10 days later said that the coverage in some areas would need another 1000 implants. Although, before the procedure I was told these areas would be completely covered. I would avoid the Advanced Medical Institute in Eagan. There are hundreds of places that perform this procedure and the costs vary quite a bit so look in to different places before signing up with anyone.
