Forget this restaurant!!. We're down in Prior Lake looking for decent Vietnamese food this past weekend. Ordered the bbq beef and shrimp spring rolls and all they are is stuffed lettuce with tiny bits of shrimp-no beef. The sauce was a muck of sweet goo. Worst spring rolls ever! We chose the beef/vietnamese broccoli and mushroom dish. It came with some sticky clumped white rice. The beef was tasteless pieces of meat, the sauce had MSG because we got heartburn and headaches from it, and the broccoli and mushrooms were stringy, undercooked crap. This is low grade unappealing food not even close to good authentic Vietnamese food-i.e. Rice Paper in Edina is tops in TC.

We will never go back... My husband and I like to explore a little bit. So when we find Cam Ranh Bay open in Burnsville (we used to go to the one in Eden Prairie all the time),we went there and hoping to get a decent meal. Well, the meat quallity is poor. The beef is slimy (I don't know maybe it's the authentic way to make it, but it taste gross), so my husband ask if the cook can deep fry it to make it firmer. We explained to them that, nothing wrong with the taste, it's just we used to a firmer meat. Adn The cook say no, even after the management begging him to do it, and I offer to pay a little bit more. I guess the cook controled the management.. yaiks. And after we pay for the untouched meal (Because the cook swearing at us in vietnamese, while looking from the kitchen window), we won't come back and we make sure we tell ou friends about it.

Same OLD Plainess. I've eaten at this restaurant before and was very disappointed at the quality of food. It' not as authentic nor as good as the Vietnamese food I'm use to. I thought I'd try this joint again after hearing that they have new management. After all, I live just right around the corner from them. To my disappointment again, the food tasted almost the same as it use to. The same OLD blandness still remains. I hate to say it, but I have to travel all the way to Eat Street for good Viet food.

Its worth to eat there. The restaurant has the new owner so everything has improved very dramatically. The service was organized and efficient. The place was very nice and friendly and more over the foods were awesome. I would come back for more and recommend my friends to go there.
