They put out lots of coupons so check your Sunday paper etc. I have been coming to this place for over 5 years and the consistency remains. They have excellent stuffed pies too they weigh like 5 lbs so go a long ways. Compared to a lot of other places around St Louis Park this is excellent pizza for the money and convience of pickup and then bake at your leisure.
From original to stuffed crust, these take-home pizzas are oven ready for a quick make-at-home meal..
In Short
In 1995, two small franchises--Papa Aldo's Pizza and Murphy's Pizza--merged, forming a nationwide take-and-bake chain. The dough is prepared in-house daily, and topped with fresh cheese and basic (pepperoni, mushroom, olives) or gourmet (chicken, artichoke, spinach, herbs) combinations. Order the thin-crust deLITE pizza for a low-cal, low-carb option, or get a family-style stuffed pizza, loaded with toppings inside and on top of a thick crust. Dessert pizzas, salads and calzones are also available.
Not-so-good. This is only one or two steps up from frozen. If I have to put in the work to bake & cut it, then it should measure up better than this. The crust is just right, however the sauce tastes more like tomato paste and it's just NOT CHEESY enough! The sausage is spicy, but greasy as ever. With a few adjustments this could be a lot better. I'm not so sure everyone will be hooked on it, especially if you know what 'good" pizza is and where to find it.
GRRRRRRRRRREAT.
What a concept!
Staff had a great attitude, pizza was super, the best I ever had.
Bake it HOT and enjoy it when you want to eat.
pizza soup. This stuff is yucky. The crust claims to cook up nice in your oven. Errrnnn!!! Not! Even with the little sheet underneath the "ready-for-the-oven" pizza it still comes out like your average Chef-boy-rd pizza mix. You can't simulate a pizza oven at home (unless you have one). Besides that, they put on way too much sauce. We're talkin' soup! Icky...
MAMA MIA LOVES PAPA MURPHY. THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST VALUE AROUND..BYE BYE FROZEN PIZZA-- YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!
No Delivery???. Not saying the pizza isnt good but there are far better pizza places in my opinion.
The best pizza that I have ever had. This is the best take out pizza that I have ever had. Most of the others that I have gotten pizza from other places the ingredients are skimpy or extra greasy. Not with Papa Murphy's. They give you lots of fresh toppings and they have different sizes of Pizza's then the other take out places
take it and bake it. The food is pretty good. Watch out for people who are new at working in the resteraunt, they can be pretty dumb
Who is fooling Who ?.
Nice Idea but it doesn't work. Allot of it is in the oven and you don't have one at home. It tastes like you made it from home, except it costs you more. Also the sauce and toppings are just OK.
When you have to measure with cups to add the toppings tells me there just one in a long line of industry manufactures.
