Great place for vinyl. I've pretty much only shopped for records at this store but have always come across great selection, reasonable prices, and helpful staff every time I've been.
Loyal Customer for years. I have been going to Disc Land since the year they opened and have had nothing but good service. I have never had to return anything I purchased, new or used, and when I asked for special orders they have always helped me find what I was looking for. The owner knows me when he sees me and many of the employees have been helping me for years. I think that Disc Land is one of the best stores of its kind in the state of MN because of their commitment to customer service.
Heaven On Earth.
The first time I walked into Discland I thought I had died and somehow ended up in heaven.
First of all, they have a great location. It's right off I-35W and 98th Street in Bloomington. It's within walking distance of two banks, a pharmacy, grocery store and many restaurants.
This place has something for everyone. I've purchased clothes for my 2-year-old nephew, jewelry for my 9-year-old niece, as well as CD's and DVD's for my ancient parents.
My personal favorite is their huge selection of great novelty and band t-shirts. They can even make custom t-shirts for you! They have body jewelry, vinyl, mp3 players, VHS, posters and novelty gifts.
Their friendly staff let you try out video games and listen to CD's before you buy them. Unlike GameStop or most pawn shops they even have a guarantee on used items, not just brand-new.
This is the best place in the twin cities to get hard-to-find and unique items at a reasonable price.
Very Bad Service.
this store is only good for going too if you want to get ripped off on trade in's. They Do Not have many selections for video games, some of the games are very high priced.
also theres a few of there fellow employees that treat you unfairly and talk stupid around you just to piss you off. the manager is a really terrible guy who seems like he knows alot but he really doesnt . There is also one other girl thats a employee that will hit on your girlfriend. So just for the heads up. i've been to this store many times and was treated very unfairly..
p.s. I WOULD NOT recommend bringing kids into this store, they burn some type of inscents that can damage your brain cells. I'm sure someday there company will notice and they'll be shut down. Cheers
