Very cheap, very good and very authentic tamales.. In Short
A small tamale stand situated in the big and bustling Mercado Central, its specialty is, of course, tamales. Varieties abound, including corn meal battered tamales of vegetables, chicken green chile with tomatillos and red pork with chipotles. The plantain-leaf tamales are stuffed with meats and cheeses and covered with mole. There are even raisin and pineapple tamales for dessert.
