like someone said it could be worse.
We've lived here for a few years now. We had some trouble adjusting in the beginning. We moved here from an apartment and were excited to get our own yard so the kids could play.
It turned out that we really can't have much in the yard for the kids. Everything done to the yard must be approved by the park first. If you have a kitty pool it must be drained and put away immediately after each use. The manager was kind enough to let us keep our fence up. We had it for a few month's but neighbors repeatedly complained that we had a fence so we had to take it down. Our yard isn't used for anything right now. We've got a grill but my young children can't play in the yard because they run on the street. Manager said we could put up the cast iron decorative garden fence if we wanted to, but it was too spendy for us and we were saving. I've seen a few people with swingsets and gazebos that seem to work out fine. Management doesn't get after you about painting or putting in flowers/grass. And we've lived here quietly for a couple years no complaints.
I have more of the opposite opinion. The Managers are nice but some of the neighbors are not. I've had neighbors knock on my door to sign petition's about other neighbors, like because someone had an RV or their grass was too long. luckily nothing ever came from it, but I tend to mind my own business.
The rent is the cheapest around. Which allowed us to save for bigger purchases and pay off some student loans so that was a big plus.
I'm not sure what crime people are talking about. I personally haven't had any problems here or know of any.…

houses mobile home parks and apartments and it has been WORSE their and some times better depending on the situation their are two sides to every coin and this is not the tail end we might not always get ahead but it is not bad
i have no neighbors above or below nor ether side sharing walls with me . APARTMENTS or should we say TOGETHERMENTS my car is not being broke into on a every week end basis , and wile other place's have been some what better i was paying 700$s a mouth or more and they still had crappy maintenance i guess some people don't appreciate what they have till its gone we could have a dictatorship management like 4 Season in Blaine mn where they tell you what color to pain you house how long to grow your grass no pets your car is to rusty........and have to pay through the nose for lot rent…
Owners are horrid!.
We have lived here for 6 years and it has been hell for us. I have to totally agree with wells3106. They tell you its ok to do something or have something, then when you do, they change their mind
and cite you for it! I am so tired of the owners not fulfilling their obligations and letting this place get run down. The water and sewers are old and instead of replacing them, they wait for it to break then make the home owners fix everything at their own expense. We do not take them with us if we move our house, why should we fix them! Now we are being told that we cannot have hedges, gardens, etc that will make a hiding place for "criminals". In other words, they do not want you to have a nice looking yard, home or neighborhood. As soon as we have the money saved up, we are moving our home out of here. Just take a drive through the park and notice all the empty lots and houses for sale and you will have your clue as to how bad this park is.
5/4/11 Yes, I am still here two years later. However, I am now selling my home and moving to get away from this place. The management is still horrid but the owners are worse. We have been through several office personnel and I was told by a person who will remain anonymous that the owner asked her to forge documents in order for him to get more money from rent assistance. Not exactly the place a person would like to call home. Good luck to those who want to live here. If you don't mind criminal activity, you will fit right in.…
Manager's on Powertrip; your home won't be "homey".
I am a resident of Townsedge Terrace Mobile Home community.
The neighbors are wonderful and it is a quite park... except for the constant knocking on the door by the Manager. The Manager will make sure that you know the lot you live on is theirs and not yours. Your home will not be homey. One month they will say that something is alright to have, and the next month they will go on a power trip saying, "you are in violation of your lease." Or they will drive by until you leave the house, then write up a citation and post it on your door.
If it wasn't for the Management I would say it is a great place to live. However, I think the Management has what is called, "The Napolean Syndrome"…
