Best Alterations In Town!!!. I had the best experience at Su's Express Alterations! Su was very friendly and professional with me. She provided great suggestions on what needed to be done to my dress. When I went back for my fitting, my dress turned out beautiful! The price is also great!

There are better options out there. Had a bad experience there getting measurements taken for a dress. She was dismissive, and didn't seem interested in taking accurate measurements. Also, she was somewhat rude and insulting about my body shape. Overall, my experience there was not pleasant and rather humiliating. Not the kind of professionalism and service I would expect when looking for bridal alterations.

Nice work, very happy. I brought my bias-cut 1940's-style wedding gown in for alterations. I wasn't sure exactly what it needed to fit better, but Su's did a good job of figuring out how to take it in. I picked it up, on time, as promised, and it fit beautifully. She even checked the hem and because the lining was peeking out just slightly (I didn't even notice) she fixed it while I waited just a few minutes so I could take the dress with me and not have to come back. I was a little apprehensive because of some reviews but my experience was great. Good pricing, beautiful fit. I'm a happy bride. :)

UNHELPFUL, HOT, AND RUDE. I made an appointment, went all the way downtown... PAID for parking, took 2 hours off of work to drive there, park, arrive....

And Su was Rude and unfriendly; refused to help alter my wedding gown when it was obviously not right. It was the biggest waste of my time and efforts; not to mention that it was an uncomfortable and hot shop store.

I went to another alteration place that night and the alteration seamstress knew right away what was wrong with the dress and how to fix it. It wasn't brain-surgery; just good old fashioned altering.

If I had options (which you do!) - stay away from this place! It's not worth it!

Very personable and skilled seamstress. I brought in my dress from David's Bridal. I had read the online reviews, below, and they convinced me to seek out Su first as a seamstress. I found Su to be very inviting and she displayed confidence during my first fitting. Within 2 weeks, I was able to return for my second fitting and she had done exactly what she had promised. The seam work was wonderful and I was very pleased with the end result. A third fitting was not necessary. To make the whole experience even better, my total bill was only $98. Thanks Su!

Beautiful Alterations!. I brought my wedding dress to Su's after losing confidence in the Wedding Shoppe (where I purchased my dress). Su knew just what to do and completed all the alterations in just 2 weeks. I was able to get an appointment that fit in well with my schedule and I was charged $150 less than what the Wedding Shoppe quoted me. It was an extremely positive experience!

Great with fragile wedding gown fabric. I brought my wedding gown to Su's and was initially worried because the fabric of the gown is was very unusual and fragile. Su's had no problem, though - they did a great job and all of the edges look clean - even with the lacy, easeily torn fabric. The size is perfect and Su honored my request not to make it too tight (even though everyone wanted me to have it tighter). They also added straps to my strapless dress and the new straps actually look like they belong there (as opposed to looking like an add-on). Thanks Su's!

Magic Fingers!. I went to Su's Express' Alterations to get two of my dresses altered for a beauty pageant and everything turned out lovely! I am so happy that I went there because she knew exactly what to do and where the dress needed to get fixed. This is super important especially in pageants where everything is on the line. Also, the pricing was not too expensive and reflected the average tailor's price. There was even time when I tried on the dress for the final fitting and I thought it was fine but she looked at it and saw that there was a tiny tiny need to nudge the straps onto my dress more so that everything stays inside the dress and she fixed that extra part that I didn't even notice for free! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Su's Express Alterations because she is a wonderful and kind person who knows exactly what you need!

Great Alterations!. I had my wedding dress altered there and I loved it. Su, the owner is great and friendly. She knows the right measurement and she is very skilled. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to get wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses or just everyday clothes altered. I have never had any problems with rescheduling appointments or had any bad experience with her staff. I suggested my bridesmaids have their dresses altered there as well, and they loved the service and the way their dresses fit so nicely. We are extremely happy with our dresses.

CAUTION!!! SCAM!!! DO NOT PAY CASH!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!. I had my bridesmaid dress altered there and I paid cash upfront.

The person who took it had a really bright blue eye shadows and she just took the cash and never stamped the "PAID" stamp on my receipt.

Not knowing how they do their business, I just took the paper with the amount due with no stamp.

When I went to pick up the dress, they asked for money again so I told them I paid it.

But now, I do not have the record of check or credit card statement because I paid cash.

BE VERY WEARY OF THE BUSINESS! ESPECIALLY WITH THE WOMAN WITH BLUE EYE SHADOWS!!!

If you pay cash, make sure you get the "PAID" stamp on your slip.

I cannot believe this is happening to me. I am a very honest person and I felt so offended that they took my credit card number, address, and security code to give me the dress!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!

I am so angry and hurt. I am so busy and I can't waste time on this stuff!

This is my first time to write a bad comment about any business, but I wanted to make sure it doesn't happen to other people.
