In Short – The room is simple with hellfire-red accents, framed Ralph Steadman prints and a few faux buzzards lurking around. Somehow, the devilish theme is amusing, not macabre. Expect breakfast standards with a delightful twist. Toasted sausage bread is a sweet-salty mix of bison sausage, currants, pecans and black coffee. Caramel-pecan rolls are made fresh. At lunchtime, there's a ham, pear, Swiss and fontina melt and a slow-roasted pulled pork sandwich, zippy with chili-herb seasonings.

too bad the service was bad, we had to wait forever for the hot chocolate, and it wasnt even busy, the restroom wast that clean either, would come back to give them another chance, just for that lil' slice of heaven!

Ahh hell!

I completely agree with the editorial review....so for the bulk of what I think, please see and look for insider tip.

I will however like to comment on my food...the eggs and black beans w/ wallop of salsa. First off, a scoop (they call it a wallop) of salsa or sour cream is $1ea +$1.35 for cheese. My eggs with black beans, which are two of the cheapest foods on the face of the earth with "wallops" and cheese cost $8.60...cooked well, but the salsa was sweet and didn’t go well with the beans or eggs. Also, the multigrain bread was good and I could tell it was high quality.

Atmosphere is cool, but i don't think it really goes well for a group of hungry guys trying to get their crush on after a long night out on the town. I felt like it would've been better if I was a women with a pair of Lisa Loeb glasses on with a book in my hand and an angry look on my face.

Try this place out if you have plenty of time as service was kinda slow. Might be better place for dinner based on the quality of the menu.

3 stars just b/c I went for breakfast. Based on the quality of food, if I was there for lunch or dinner, it would probably be a 4.

  • Pros: Editorial Review hits the nail on the head...nice server
  • Cons: Pricey (good ingredients though)

couldnt pay me to go eat there again

I chose Hells Kitchen for a bacholerette dinner for my sister and her friends after much research, I took a small group of ladies under the age of 21 to this establishment for a nice dinner, but was very very very unhappy from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Our server messed up our orders, the time to even order was almost 40 minutes, he was very rude and did not come back to check on us like he should have instead he was at the bar chatting it up with friends and other staff, i made reservations and we came on a thursay night, it wasn't busy, therfore i didnt understand the poor service. Most of our food was cold, but didnt want to bother the server since he rarely showed up and it took way to long to order and recieve our food the first time, after all this the night was farther ruined with a man begging for money at the main door and the length for our dinner service cut into the limo time i had set up for my sister to tour the town. We were very well behaved with manners but were not treated that way at all. Was a big disapointment for all of us, we were all excited to see what Hells Kitchen had to offer us.

i even wrote to the owner of Hell's kitchen, i did get one response back wanting some more details of my trip to Hell's kitchen, after that i have not heard back, it has almost been a month =(

  • Pros: nothing
  • Cons: poor service, cold food, long wait, unhelpfull owner
