Highly Recommended. This was a first date and a first time to Bacio! I had been to Zelo and loved it and it is refreshing to have a new place out of the downtown area "close to home"! The Sea Bass is wonderful and cooked to perfection as was the 16 oz. Prime Rib my date ordered. Our server was attentive, but not in our face and knew the menu which helped us pick the perfect meals! I could make this place a staple in my diet! HAH!

Nice ambiance, average food. I will agree the ambiance here is very nice. It does not make up for the poor service and average fare. I am not opposed to high prices, if it is worth it, but I tell you the prices on dinners are outrageousfor the average quality. The "Bacio" salad of mixed greens, pears, walnuts and gorgonzola was entirely unorigional. I first had this salad at Black's Ford in Wayzata six years ago. It has been copied by many since, and is better at Blacks' Ford. The cheesecake was the best part of dinner. Wait staff needs more training, especially on wines.

outstanding!. I had lunch at Bacio's with my parents who were visiting from out of town. We had great service and the food was outstanding! My parents comments several times on the beautiful ambiance and the tasty food. I will definitely recommend Bacio's to friends who are looking for a nice restaurant for a special occassion.

Better than Fine ... but not Spectacular. A nice addition to the Minnetonka area. I've been there about a half-dozen times now and tried some of everything on the menu. Stay with the fish specials which are quite good. You'll find better pastas, sandwiches and pizzas elsewhere in the Twin Cities. The food appeals to the Minnesota palate and the service is good. If anything it's a bit pricey. I still prefer the sister restaurants of Zelo and Ciao Bella from an atmosphere perspective.

Advanced. Over priced Getting seated was a problem. Ambience was the best thing about this restaurant. I will be back to give them a second opportunity.

Stephanie. Our boss took us out for dinner. We were horrified with our service. He ordered a bottle of Dom Perignon and the server did not know what it was. He physically had to write it down. He interrupted us 13 times to ask us if we were ready to order dinner. When we said we were not quite ready, he grabbed our menus and put them on the edge of the table. I have no idea why. Spent over $300 for 3 of us, and we will never return.

Incredible!!. We have had several incredible dining experiences at Bacio. The service is unbelievably wonderful. They provide black napkins if you're wearing dark colors and each member of the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the cuisine. The food is spectacular and the trendy atmosphere is very fun. I would definitely recommend Bacio for dining or even just for drinks in the fabulous bar.

Excellent all around. We went to Bacio based on reviews from this site and we were not disappointed. We were both in the mood for meat . . . I had the NY strip and my fiancee the filet mignon. Both were tastey and cooked exactly as we asked. Both the Bacio and Ciao Baby salads were excellent and great values. With dinner we had the '96 Caymus, a great wine that I could tell was well cared for (check out the wine storage units in the back) and the mark up was reasonable. When we asked to eat at a leisurely pace the server kept in touch with us but let the food settle between courses. The flourless chocolate cake was great!

Nice atmosphere....bad desserts. The service and atmosphere were great, but the food was overpriced for the quality. The soup was much too thick, pasta was o.k, and the desserts had untasteful combinations.
