This was my second visit with Amy Z and the first time I had color done with her. It was a great experience. She really listened to what I had to say and had really fun ideas. She spent a lot of time making sure it was going to be the right color for what we had in mind. I have had numerous comments from people on how good the color and cut looks. Thank you Amy!
I started going to reVamp back in May for a haircut and went back a second time since my cut was so amazing with Amy Z. I've been back 2 additional times and already have made my next appointment for Amy Z. I drive for 20 minutes for my appointment and it is totally worth the drive. I give Amy Z a thumbs up!!!
I first went to Revamp as part of a makeover and I've been going back ever since. Carie gives the best cut and color. I highly recommend!
THEY HAVE AN ATTITUDE.
I went there for 5 yrs for my hair and loved Amanda, she was awesome. They are extremely over the top rude at the front desk and act like they are too good to be nice to clients. I WILL NEVER go back there again unless Amanda came back.
Please do not support a company who treats people who pay them for service like they do.
Worst experience ever!. I had the worst haircut ever. The front desk was anything but hospitable. I miss my awesome stylist, Amanda Magoffin terribly!!!
ReVamp ROCKS!.
I have been going to ReVamp Salonspa for many, many years and I have gone through a myriad of diverse hair styles in that time. I am amazed that Christopher is able to create something unique, flattering and appropriate each and every time. I totally trust him to make me the best that I can be! I travel a lot and am still surprised at how often people stop me to comment on how much they like my hair.
All of the services provided at ReVamp are top shelf. Trish is a delight and does my color and by some miracle I never seem to have any roots . The massage therapists are incredible and hold their own up against 5* hotel spas. The nail technicians are all very good and it is a great place to treat my two granddaughters to a mani/pedi day with Grandma.
All in all the entire staff is fun, friendly and welcoming. Robert keeps a close watch on both the customers and the staff to ensure that everyone has a terrific and rejuvenating experience.
reVamp not what it used to be. I went to ReVamp for years. I just loved it. My hair had never looked so good. But my last two haircuts/colors were not good. The last one was one of the worst haircuts of my life. My hair had been over-processed which caused a lot of breakage. The cut was done so poorly that I started to have bad hair days two days after the cut. No amount of gel, mousse, or any other wonder product helped. Also, one side was cut a little longer than the other. That last reVamp experience was such that when I went to another salon for my follow-up cut and color, it took the hairdresser a lot of work to undo the damage that had been. I could have gone back to reVamp to complain, but the experience was so negative that I just never wanted to return and never will.
Totally shocked by poor service.
I came in for my first time as a referral..not only was Revamp dirty and the Receptionist people rude and un-inviting...I got my hair done by Kelly and it is the worst cut and color I have ever had. She did not listen to what I was saying and acted like she knew better. My hair turned out orangey-colored and my cut was way too short- choppy and un-even. I got the feeling that the whole salon could not get me out the door fast enough. I was prepared to spend good money for what I was told was a premier salon and wow! Nothing that I expected.
I did call the salon the next day and was told Robert would call me back but he never did. Pretty much rounded out my whole experience with this horrible salon. I would never go back nor would I recommend
it to anyone.
A Welcome Change!.
In the week since my "Oprah makeover," I've had more compliments and "You look great!" comments than I can remember in a lifetime, making my trip from Arizona for the weekend well worth the time and expense.
In May, I read Christopher's book over a weekend and called that Monday for an appointment, with a focus on a haircut with him, and a style consultation with Joanne (it's WAY past time to clean out some closets!).
After losing my job of 25 years in 2009, I started my own business (I'm 67), and recognized that how I look says a great deal about the company, making investing in my image - which needed polishing, and some tips to make the best use of all that makeup in my bathroom drawer - a wise choice.
Coincidentally, I was speaking at a conference last Tuesday, three days after my ReVamp: a perfect launch moment for my "Comeback."
The day was a treat from start to finish, from the warm welcome at the front desk to the caring and friendly attitude of everyone on the staff, and even the other customers I had the chance to chat with.
Even more than Christopher's cut - a redo of my current style, which he agreed worked well - his advice on how to create the look we both liked has helped me, every day...and I'm inept with my hair, so that says a lot.
Joanne's style analysis concluded the day: the concept of measuring your body vertically, not just horizontally (which Christopher explains in the book) makes SUCH a difference in choosing flattering and appropriate styles, and letting go of those that don't work.
From my eyebrow waxing with Sara, to Amanda - whose skill gave me the golden red color I wish I'd been born with, to the expertise Cami passed along about foundation, concealer and especially eye makeup (many of those compliments I've been getting are due to her tips!), it was a day that will pay dividends for years to come.
The Before and After photos, taken by the wonderful Robert, will be good reminders not to let things slip...and I'll schedule an annual visit to be sure!
Lastly, I've loved that my women friends are intrigued by the process, and eager to learn more. Christopher, tell your publishers to get ready for another print run: I'm recommending you, the book and the ReVamp experience to everyone I know!
Thank you so much for your feed back. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with others. Stories like yours inspire us to keep doing what we do.
Experience of a Lifetime!. Every time I see one of Revamp's fabulous Makeovers, I think about writing to tell about mine. I came to Revamp in late Feb. after losing 90+ lbs. It wasn't until Christopher and his team worked their magic on me that I truly felt different. I had a sense that what they had done for me was almost life changing but I was sure of it when my hair stylist of 30 years decided to change what they had done. I was so unhappy with the results! Who knew that after a few short months, I could become so attached to my new look and unwilling to go back to my once old and drab hair. After a few tries, it is almost back to Christopher's vision for me and I am smiling and feeling great again. I will be back to have an update in the fall. Thanks Revamp for helping make me a whole new person. (Thanks to Joanne as well. I never go into a store without my silhouette shopping guide)
Thank you for your post. We really appreciate it. Reading stories like yours keeps us inspired. Thanks again and enjoy the NEW YOU =)
