Classic Saigon Eagan is a treasure!

I adore this type of food. This place was a cut above and it's in a little strip mall. It's got better food than alot of bigger and more flashy places! I wanted to say something about it because it's better than your usual others and because you can see that they take care to prep it right. They take the fat and gristle out. They give you lean cuts of meat and know how to balance their portions so you're not getting undercut on the protein, and know how to balance the gravy and sauces in their dishes. Watch out for extra spicy! I love hot but their hottest is ridiculous! LOVE this place. Please try them!
Best Kept Secret in teh City

WOW!!! This place is awesome, easily the best oriental food I have ever had. They moved over off 35E and Yankee Doodle on 1272 Town Center drive right next to the Walgreens. The regular Chinese food items are very, very good, but their Vietnamese dishes are all world. Best PHO soup and egg rolls in the city. The seafood is amazingly good. Top dishes I have experienced include the Beef Cubes in pepper sauce, Walleye Filet in meat sauce, crispy chicken in garlic sauce. You will not find a bad dish on this menu. Tell them how spicy you want the dishes and they will suit your taste. They serve well over 100 different dishes and the sauces in every one of them will WOW you.
Great Food, great service, and great pho.

Looked this place up online, and found some good reviews here at City Search. Myself and some work buddies tried Classic Saigon for lunch one day, because we wanted to find a good Vietnamese place in the area, and more importantly a good bowl of pho.
The food was excellent, and the staff and owners are extremely friendly. It is also pretty quick, even for 6 of us, the food came out in a very timely manner. The main attraction for me is the pho, and it was well worth it. I have been back since many times, and it is in my weekly lunch rotation. I've had a lot of Vietnamese food, and a lot of pho at other places, but this was right up there with some of the best I've ever had.
Highly recommended.
- Pros: Good service, reasonable prices, good food.
- Cons: None
Great food and service!

The food and hospitality is always delightful there. Everybody gets to know everyone pretty quick, it almost has a "small-diner" feel to it.
Appetizers are especially tasty. *Grub out on some shrimp dumplings or eggrolls next time you're in, you'll be glad you did. There are tons of great seafood dishes, there's a garlic crab one that is especially bomb. I always find myself coming in for the Pho though.
If anyone is into real asian food or just want to try something new in town, I defintely recommend this place to you.
- Pros: Best Pho in south suburbs
- Cons:
Great neighborhood place!

I've never written a review... but this place was so good, I just have to write about it. It's down the street from our condo. We've driven by and been curious about it. We were looking for a place last Saturday night. Pho sounded good, so we tried Sai Gon. We are SO GLAD we did! The tea was great- both the delicious smell & taste. I had the meatball & beef Pho and totally recommend it. Service was friendly-- didn't recognize us & asked if we'd been in before... It was so good, we went back today for lunch to try other dishes. I had the Vermecelli plate with grilled shrimp and vegetables. They have 160 items on the menu... we may try all of them, but these 2 were so fabulous, there is an equal chance I'll stick to these two new favorites.
- Pros: food
