Excellent Thai Place. I have tried a lot of Thai places in twin cities. Krua Thai is my favorite. I love their Thilapia in creamy coconut sauce. If you want authentic Thai food this is the place to go.

best Thai food.. I am 100% Thai. Recommended Krua is the best. for some body who don"t know Thai food, I want to let u know real GREEN CURRY should not have peanut!! and I order at Krua IT is so perfect...have no bean sprout .Krua restaurant never put some bean sprout in Green curry. Real Thai Food. For someone who doesn't like Krua Thailand, may be you don't know real Thai food and you might like Lao or american-Thai style food....Krua is the REAL ONE

Huge disappointment. I cannot see where all the positive reviews come from! We ordered Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were full of old, dried coleslaw mix, with no flavor whatsoever. The sauce they came with was very odd-- thick, pink, and not at all tasty. I found the green curry to be watered down-- it was mostly full of bean sprouts and green beans (?) with maybe 1-2 small pieces of chicken. The pad thai was merely ok... again, almost all bean sprouts, very little meat, and almost no peanut flavor. We would never eat their food again!

RED CURRY AND PEANUT CURRY ARE THE BEST.red curry in creamy coconut and peanut curry blend so perfect with meat has some sweet juice and has NO brown sugar because they never use it. Service so fun!!!

Worst Thai Food Ever!!. I have eaten at probably 80% of the Thai restaurants in Minneapolis and would prefer to eat Thai food everyday. I have also eaten my way through 3 different areas in Thailand trying everything from street vendor food to Durian fruit. That being said, Krua Thailand had the worst food i've ever had. The peanut sauce was runny and tasteless. The red curry wasn't even edible. It smelled and tasted like dirty or old dead fish. It also had crunchy chunks of brown sugar. I could not get the foul taste out of my mouth for 3 hours. I had to eat mints to keep from becoming ill. The only thing that was edible was the Chiang Mai sausage. It was actually decent. There are so many wonderful Thai restaurants in the Twin Cities. For your own good, eat anywhere but here!

Probably the best and most authentic of the Thai restaurants.. The decor is dingy but this is probably the best Thai restaurant in the TC. The red curry with Coconut is wonderful, and the prices are good. My wife and I consider this our favorite Thai restaurant.

Good Thai Food.. This restuarant has great tasting food. Very friendly staff also. Awesome authentic Thai dishes. The only weakness of the restaurant is the carpet on the floor...it's old and it smells, it would be great if they removed it and replaced the flooring with tile, it would not only smell better and be cleaner but would make the restaurant look nicer to compliment the rest of it as well! Other than that, it is a good Thai restaurant if you are in the area.

User review by naiman. Just discovered this restaurant last weekend. Excellent food! However, the wait for our order was over an hour. We brought in beer and were charged 15% of our total food to do so! It would be nice if there was a sign or something to let customers know that is their policy.

Go! Go! Go!. I have eaten at Krua Thailand many times and have yet to be dissapointed with any of the food. All the dishes are traditional Thai as prepared by the chef. When entering the ladies that greet you are as nice as can be and they are always prompt when seating you and taking your order. Having tried many Thai restaurants nothing comes close to being as authentic as this one. The Thai iced tea is always delicious and makes a great accompaniment to any meal.

excellent real thai food. I'm Thai so I know what Thai food should taste like. Krua Thailand serves REAL home-made Thai food, which reminds me of home. My friends fell in love with the food. It is much better and cheaper than Chiangmai Thai and Sawasdee, which I find "too westernized". However, if the chef is in bad mood, or he has too many clients, the food doesn't come out right. But overall, if you care more about great food, not the ambiance, try this place.
