great cheesecake, great flexibility

We needed a gluten-free wedding cake and it was really difficult to find a cake that would fit this need. Muddy Paws offers GF cheesecakes for a reasonable price and it tastes no different from their regular flavors. Fantastic!! They don't do tasting for gluten-free cakes, so I left my fiance at home and took a friend with me for the tasting. It was great that they offered this service. In addition, the cheesecake looked lovely and our guests enjoyed the variety of flavors we were able to offer them. Communication with the staff at Muddy Paws was fantastic, they were responsive to email questions, and were accommodating to all of our special dietary restrictions. They put flowers on the cake in a pretty fashion at no extra charge beyond the delivery charge. Also included at no extra cost were labels of what types of cheesecakes we had to clue our guests into the flavors. The delivery was done so quickly, I don?t even know when they delivered them!! This was one of the easiest vendors we worked with at our wedding. In short, if you want something a bit different from a traditional cake or you need a delicious gluten-free cake option, I cannot recommend Muddy Paws enough.

My first stop when I am back in MN!!

I grew up in the twin cities and I discovered this gem a few years ago when I moved to the uptown area. I now live in Hawaii and Muddy Paws is always the top of my list when I am back in MN for a visit! I always get the Caramel Swirl or the Dulce de Leche...SO YUMMY! I have always had great service there...but I am usually purchasing an entire cake!!! I'm guessing that makes them happy!!

Best Cheesecake in the world! Great customer service - warm environment - great location

BEST CHEESECAKE EVER! Creamy, not too sweet, dense...pure perfection. Since trying this cheesecake at my sisters wedding (cheesecake wedding cake IS the way to go!), I do all my studying and meetings there. It has a warm and comfortable atmosphere. I'm sure every place has a bad customer service day but I have yet to see a bad one here - the staff is always so nice and they go out of their way to make sure I'm taken care of. They are obviously trained well or really love their job or both! I highly recommend that everyone try this cheesecake....it's like NO Other! My friend said it's so good, it makes him weep:) I read that they deliver anywhere if you don't live near Uptown. My favorite: Key Lime......yum-o.

Poor customer service taints the otherwise awesome cheesecake

When I recently stopped by the Uptown location for a slice of cheesecake to go, I was taken aback by the rude treatment I received. Apparently, you have to pay cash for any purchase under $5, but I didn't learn this until I had already ordered my slice to go (this policy is not posted). The staff person was really huffy about it and gave me a line about not being able to sell my piece to another customer because she had already boxed it up (as though she was doing ME a favor letting me charge the slice on my debit card). Having worked in customer service and food service for years, I know what she said to be false and I was speechless at how easily her manner gave me a bad impression of the entire establishment. Muddy Paws has the cheesecakes down to perfection, but really, what is the point if you turn off your customers and make them want to never return?

I heart cheesecake!

I have had the chance to visit the uptown location several times with friends for lazy Friday nights out. Kinda close to the action, but far enough away to keep it low-key. That being said- the cheesecake is pretty dang good!! Although, to be honest I prefer the Cheesecake Factory. (But it's a very, very close call!!) Let the location be your guide....

I have also tried a few of the pasta salads. Decent- very grocery store, but really...what can you do with pasta salad.

Overall, great experiences at Muddy Paws!
