I would just like to explain White Knight's past complaint of a wine tour from 6-17-07. I did not pose as an event planner or assume the role as one. I helped the customer find a restaurant to eat at and suggested a few wineries to "see". I did not offer to book "private" tours or help plan her timing in any way. The customer found out on arrival that her first winery was having a special event and would not be having public tours as scheduled on their website but would be having them in an hour. They did have other things for the customer to enjoy such as wine tasting if she so choose to do so. The customer went to her lunch and did not opt to visit any other wineries. She did use over 4.5 hours of service and wanted a full refund. We explained we can not be responsible for wineries having special events and a schedule posted on their website that is not correct. Our website does not say anything about being an event planner or booking private tours. We did give her a partial refund even though we do not accept responsibility for the wineries events. She expected to use the full time she scheduled and to get a full refund.

I wanted to plan something special for my husband’s birthday and father’s day. I thought I was paying for a winery tour. But what I got was a really nice driver, a car, and a day that was nothing but a huge disappointment. They come off as the event planner. Don’t fall for this, save your money, and plan and drive it yourself. The times they tell you would never work out. They don’t keep track of the winery tours to know when and if they offer tours. And when I asked for a refund they only felt responsible for a small portion of it.
