New menu items are great!. Check out the photos to see a few of Gigi's new dishes. The eats are: . Sweet Potato Biscuits and Tomato Gravy. Comes with poached eggs on top and a side of potatoes. . Zucchini Fritter with Sweet Corn Aioli.

. Angolotti Filled with Ricotta and Mushrooms in a Brown Butter Sauce. With Micro Chard and Shaved Parmesan

.Pork Pinchitos. Traditional and super tasty, served with lemon.

crabby mean staff have ruined the place. Get rid of them!. Agreeing with the comment below, there are two specific guys that work there - so rude, so mean - and they treat you like you're bothering them when you try and make conversation. I used to go regularly, and the old staff was so nice, but I recently got fed up being made to feel like I was bothering them by being there, and by being snapped at when asking a question, that I have stopped going and lost all interest in returning.

Although, I heard there will be new ownership!

If the Mean Twins (long-haired jerk, and his short-haired jerk companion) are fired, then I'll return!

(And, as long as they don't throw trash in my half-eaten food when I turn away for a second, and then do nothing but glare when I tell them I had been planning on eating the other half of my sandwich... then I will risk getting food again!)

Used to like going there.... I live in the area, and would occasionally stop in, grab a coffee to go or just hang out and read the paper or bring the laptop. It has always been a cozy, nice place to go with nice employees....until the last 6 months at least? I've recently been going there sometimes usaully around daytime, midweek, and there is that one guy(semi-long hair with a ponytail and sideburns. Honestly I've never seen a coffee/bakery worker act sooo tough and rude. When somebody makes YOU feel uncomfortable for coming into a what used to be a friendly business, that's where giving them my business(let alone money in their tip jar)ends. I thought the 1st time the guy might have just been having a bad day, so I ignored it. Came there a few weeks later only to find the guy a whole lot worse. Totally unfriendly, looking at his cell phone, and slamming drawers around, like the "unique" tough guy he is, sorry for the other actual nice people that DO work there, but as long as "Eddie Vedder" is still working there, I will not be back.

Nothing family friendly about it (anymore). We've been going to Gigi's off and on since they opened, and it used to be a favorite place to take the family for good food at a reasonable price, with little wait. I've just sworn off the restaurant entirely. There's nothing family friendly about your 4 year old waiting 45 minutes for 1 order of grilled cheese, and two other items that only needed to be reheated. It's a deli case, for crying out loud, why does it take them so long to reheat the food?

When they turned down the lights at night, expanded the bar, and changed the menu, I guess they were trying to say, 'no kids.' So we got the message. It's too bad, we used to love the place.
