Best in town. My husband and I visit this place all the time, the afternoon appetizers are super, we order almost one of each they offer on the menu,they are flavorful, tasty, done perfectly, and I cannot ever seem to get enough of them.The walleye pike strips are my all time fave!!! , the crab is super, the steak cooked to perfection! The wait staff always friendly and helpful, the one time I did get my steak and it was overdone, "no problem", they took it back and in record time returned with my meal hot and done perfectly! The view of the river is fabulous, and relaxing, I never hesitate to refer friends to the St. Croix Crab House. Thanks for great service and wonderful food and super views of the river!! I shall return!

St. Croix Boomsite--new name, same problems. Now doing business as St. Croix Boom Co.

I suggested this place for a business lunch with a group of co-workers--and the service was incredibly slow. We had to wait 45 minutes from the time we placed our order until the time the food arrived. It might have been understandable/excusable if the place had been packed, but there was only one other full table, plus someone at the bar. The waitstaff brought my co-worker a cheeseburger instead of the sandwich she had ordered and appeared to be angry at HER for the mistake, even though she had ordered correctly. There was no apology for the mistake; my co-worker decided just to eat what was brought as she did not wish to wait for another extensive period of time. It then took 30 minutes to get a bill after we asked for the check. Needless to say, we won't be back, and I was quite embarrassed to have recommended this place.

Great crab!. I had crab one night and a steak an other night. Both were great! the service was super. the waitress answered all of my questions and made a great sugestion each night. The prices were very fare for what I recieved. And the view of the river was fabulous! I'll be back again, and again.
