OUT OF BUSNIESS – This pizza place is out of business. The pizza was good.
Excuses Excuses Excuses – Recently I placed an order for delivery, two lasagna combos which come with a salad and a drink, a roast beef hoagie and two bags of chips. I was told it would take about a half hour. After an hour my wife called and she was told it was on the way, we live five blocks from there. Twenty five minutes later she called back and was told they were very busy, she asked to speak to a manager, he got on the phone and said it was really busy and no one told him that someone didn't make the lasagna blah blah blah ...WE DON"T CARE. If it is too busy tell us that when we order not an hour after the food was supposed to arrive. The manager said he would bring the food, which he did however the lasagna was cold there were no drinks, no chips, the cheese on the hoagie had at one point melted but it was melted no more. What this told us was that the food order was sitting on a counter and the excuses were BS We don't need excuses just honesty and good service.
Worst Delivery Experience EVER – Horrible service!!!!!!
Never order late night you will get screwed! Ordered a meal about and hour before close and about 45 mins before close we realized that we never got the call for our order, called to check on it and got hung up on 4 times then when someone finally answered the call said that they called (which never happened) and said they were sorry but it was 20 mins until close so the driver couldn't be reached to deliver the food. (it's not even a busy night!!) I would NOT recommend this place for pizza delivery.
things have changed but still good! – We have ordered pizza and hoagies from there for many years. Almost since they first opened. While everything still tastes great, my one gripe is that the hoagie had shrunk down to almost a snack sandwich size. Recently though, they made it a little bigger. I hope it will stay that size at least. Trust me when I say, their hoagies used to be the same size as Davanis. I figure either the bad economy or new management was to blame for the change. Also their taco pizza has changed from how they used to make it. Same ingredients but just different formula putting it together. Personally I liked the old way. It had a fresh almost taco salad appearance and taste. Now it's a little closer to nachos type with all the toppings. But that is just my personal preference, the rest of the family still loves that pizza.
As to people talking about wrong orders etc. We as a family of 5 haven't had that issue yet. People aren't perfect so I know eventually it will happen at least once. But then we rarely if ever order anything custom. We usually go with things that are already set, like my favorite hawaiian pizza (canadian bacon, pineapple and onion) yum! Maybe that has something to do with it. In my experience, custom anything no matter from where, has a higher chance of being made wrong.
Awesome pizza – Had a work party, ordered 6 different pizzas and asked for extra to-go boxes. When the very nice boy delivered them, they were all correct. And very delicious. He forgot the to-go boxes, but he drove all the way back with a stack of to-go boxes. All newer businesses have kinks to work out, I highly recommend this place.
Best pizza i ever had – Let me tell you it is the BEST PIZZA I EVER HAD. I will no longer go to a diffrent pizza joint. Now thay r open near my hous in Woodbury. Great food im telling you
It's all about what to order! – If you get to Paisano's, get the two slices of pizza and a drink fro $5 deal. The pizza is absolutely delicious, and almost always fresh out of the oven. I've eaten there many times, and sometimes the staff can be apathetic, but at least they're usually quick. Delicious pizza! Also the veggie stromboli is good too.
Wrong and Rude! – Ok, so mistakes happen. Thats not a big deal, but two times in a row we ordered pizza from these guys and they messed it up. We called to let them know our order was wrong and they basically told us that they did not care and it was OUR fault, not theirs that our food wasn't what we had ordered!! I couldn't believe it!! HOW RUDE! They didn't say they were sorry or anything! We weren't looking for a new pizza or even anything free we just wanted to let them know that our service has been poor lately. We will never order from them again!!
Don't get the hoagie – A very poor imitation of Davannis hoagie. The flavor was good not great. A little more than half the size of a Davanni's whole hoagie for a $1.20 more than the most expensive Davvani's hoagie ($6.29). The bun looked like something you would get at a convenience store at 3am. Hoagies are easy. If that's all they can do with a hoagie, I won't be trying anything else they have.
Be prepared for screw ups. – I also live close to downtown St. Paul and this place has delivery. EVERY time I have ordered from them, they have either forgotten something and had to go back for it or sent the wrong item in the first place. Sometimes they just prepare it wrong. On the extremely rare occasions when they have gotten it right, it was good food. If you are desperate for something to eat and just don't care what you get, this is the place for you. Otherwise avoid these screw-ups like the plague.
