Caring, careful service...the best!! Miguel makes sure my car is carefully checked, then he presents the mechanics' findings in a neutral tone so I can choose to do any repairs. If I indicate I need to put off repairing some items, he lets me know which I can safely put off. No pressure. Just good customer service from a guy who seems to care about my car as much as I do. I've been to Precision on Larpenteur many times and, unbelievably, Miguel is always the man in charge. He is always patient, upbeat, friendly. But he's more than that: he is honestly caring. When a man leaning on a cane was approaching the front door, Miguel quickly went around the counter to open the door for him. When did you last see that happen?

Great Service. I have been in contact w/Precision Tune regarding car repairs for 6 - 7 years and have been very pleased w/the service they offer and their care and treatment of a 1997 Crown Victoria. At Precision Tune they practice preventive care. They inform one ahead of time what is going to require fixing, replacement, etc., and how long one might be able to put off a specific repair instead of waiting for the car to break down and need an immediate emergency repair. This preventive care is very important as one is less likely to be stranded somewhere and be forced to either pay a tow charge to have the car towed to Precision Tune or to deal w/a strange, unknown repair shop where one is unknown and the repair shop does not know anything about what has previously been done to the car.

As a female safety and security are uppermost in my mind. Thanks to Precision Tune the car is kept in good condition. As a long time customer of Precision Tune they know me and my car. If I call for an appointment or w/a question they are able to put a face w/the name as well as associate the car and the repairs previously done. Therefore they are better able to assist me and to answer any questions.

At all time, I have found Miquel and his staff @ Precision Tune to be professional and pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Precision Tune to friends, acquaintances and others if their car needed repairs.

Offers excellent service and support. I read the other reviews about this Precision Tune location, and totally disagree with the negative feedback.

I'm a regular customer at this location for 5plus years. I've continued to receive car maintenance and repairs from this shop because I know that I can trust them to take care of my vehicle to the best of their ability.

I read a review here stating pushy sales from this shop. In my experience, this shop has always let me know things that will need to be taken care of with my vehicle, rather it be in the near future or distant. The fact that they let me know when they've noticed something that needs to be taken care of with my vehicle makes me feel safe, and informed. After all, I'm not going home and taking my car apart to see what's wrong with it. But if the guys at precision tune notice something that needs to, or will need to be taken care of with my vehicle while they're doing an oil change, alignment or whatever the case, I'd rather they make me aware. And that has been their practice with me, to make me aware, and it has never come off as pushy, but informative with the best of intentions.

I've been to other car shops, and even other precision tune locations. When I say I want an oil change, that's exactly what I get, no more, or no less. They never have any tips or advice for further maintenance, and if I have questions, they are not forthcoming. I honestly believe that they would let me roll out of their shop knowing other things on my car need to be done. I get very little communication with other shops, and would rather go to precision tune on larpenteur where I know I'll get a friendly face, and informative visit.

No one likes to shell out money for vehicle maintenance, but it is simply necessary when owning a vehicle. You can try to cut your corners at a lesser shop that will offer a lower quality of service, but if you're really serious about putting your car in good hands, I honestly recommend precision tune on larpenteur. They will offer you any deals and specials that they can, and they understand how costly, and frustrating vehicle maintenance can be. With that understanding, they will still do you the service of leaving you informed about your vehicle, in addition to doing they're very best on your repair and maintenance work.

Unethical treatment, Pushy sales. I'm not one to usually write reviews, but I feel it would be a dis-service to others not to write this one.

I brought our Ford sport trac in to get an alignment since I noticed the inside of our front tires were wearing. After calling several repair shops in the Roseville area, we found precision tune would do it for a fair $60. When dropping the truck off, there team kept pushing the alignment warranties on me (suggesting it 4 times before I could hand them my keys to leave) even though I declined the first time saying we were on a budget (and if I didn't like their service, I didn't want to have a lifetime warranty at a repair shop I never wanted to set foot in again). That's not bad, many repair shops try to sell you one thing or another. However, 2 hours later they called and said that all four of the ball joints were bad, couldn't do an alignment UNLESS we purchased a warranty, and it would total $1300. I explained we had our lower ball joints replaced 9 months earlier as part of the purchase with Ford and would battle it out with them. We brought our truck to Ford since their work should've lasted longer than that (12 mon 12000 mi). When they called they said the ball joints looked good: the lowers were practically brand new and the uppers were still well within their specs. I thought they may have been just covering their butts, so I took it to a third garage (auto max) for an 'unbiased opinion. They told me the same thing Ford did... almost word for word.

Please do not take your vehicle here! Especially if you don't know much about your vehicle. They have no problem taking money from unsuspecting customers.

It's a dishonest, pushy team that will take you for what your worth, if you let them.

Ripped off!. I had my car in for routine oil change and diagnosis for a noise coming from what seemed to be the tire. I have a very common model and make of car-- nothing special. They charged my $60 for the diagnostics, at which point they said I needed $1700 worth of repairs and I'd need to wait a week for the part. Just for the heck of it, I called my dealer to see what they charged for the same repairs, which they quoted at $1300. Thankfully I decided to take the car to the dealer, which, upon looking at the car, informed me that the repairs were as simple as bending a piece of metal back into place (for which they did not charge). This place was ready to take $1700 from me for a repair that didn't need to be done!! They failed at diagnostics as well as customer service, and I will never go back.
