Best deal in the Twin Cities. You don't feel ugly when you walk in. The clients are diverse in age, background and styles. This salon can do hair extension right next to a sweet lady with rollers and a perm. If you like the hometown feel of a stylist and environment, I suggest you give this place a try. Want to change your hair color, go to Becca. Want to see my hair, well, I receive great praise for the color, hair cut and general style. I feel pretty special.

Excellent place to have your hair done. I have been going to Lolamax for years! Derrick has been doing my hair and is most excellent at cut, color and style.

He is amazing at what he does and you can truly tell by the end result. I feel and look pretty awesome when I leave there!

Great hair!. I wanted to give Lolamax a try because I had been admiring my girlfriend's hair for years. And I love what Angela did with my hair. I have gotten more compliments on my hairstyle/color since I started using Angela. She does a great job with color!!! And I love the haircut, too. Great color and style, nice atmosphere, friendly service... I highly recommend giving it a try!

Always A Happy Customer. I've been going to Lolamax for about six years -- maybe even longer. Todd has been my hairstylist the entire time, and he always does a fantastic job with my hair. What I love about Lolamax is that everyone there is a professional and takes the time to do what's right for your hair. Everyone can feel welcome there, too. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. Their prices are excellent for a higher-end salon, so a visit won't break the bank. They don't try to "push" product on you, either. They have a wide selection of product to choose from, if you do decide to purchase any.

I've recommended Lolamax to everyone I know, and everyone who has gone has told me they loved going there and were really happy with their service.

AWESOME. this is the only place i would consider doing my hair. derick is amazing with color and he knows how to bring out the best in your hair! i have recommended him to many people, including my mom - she flies into minneapolis from around the country to get her hair done by him - that's a pretty big testament to his skill!!!

Awesome Experience!. My first experience at LolaMax was on a whim; I was a walk-in customer (something I never do). Derick gave me an awesome hair cut and the service was above and beyond! The second time I set an appointment and I am hooked! I have NEVER had a stylist ask me "how's your hair?" and mean it before I even get out of the chair! It's a great hair cut, awesome service, and fun! I am a loyal customer of LolaMax!!

P.S. I LOVE that they don't push product!
