Citysearch Editorial Review. Too often, thrift-store shopping can feel like an arduous two-hour commitment, filled with endless flipping through bins and clothing racks, passing dozens upon dozens of throwaway rejects in search of the perfect vintage gem. Not so with Up Six. Located near the increasingly appealing intersection of Selby and Snelling in St. Paul, this hospitable shop features a pre-filtered selection of the good stuff. One side of the store boasts a selection of fashionably retro clothes for men and women--coats, dresses, jeans, hats, you name it--while the other side hosts a fun collection of vintage home furnishings and unexpected goodies like board games, tableware, branded collectibles and more.

This vintage boutique at the intersection of Selby and Snelling sells retro fashions for home and self.. In Short
Up Six, tucked into busy Snelling Avenue, is like two stores in one. Head to the room on the right for that perfect '50s kitchen table or maybe a mod '70s couch. Veer to the left and you've got vintage men's and women's clothes, like a pristine '60s cocktail dress or an authentic retro tee, unlike what's at Target. All kinds of shoppers come, including nostalgia-seekers and plenty of hipsters from the area colleges.
