Hmmm.... Dinner good, Fried Ice Cream not..
The wife and I decided to come here to eat since we've read good reviews....
This is going to be short and sweet, since I only came here to review the desert: Mexican Fried Ice Cream...
Dinner: Great...
Mexican Fried Ice Cream:... Thumbs down. The ice cream was coated in corn flakes that tasted like it was sitting in the freezer for weeks. It was almost like chewing beef to eat the corn flake coating... way too tough and stale. Oh how i wish the fried ice cream was good because the only other restaurant in town who i know make it are Don Pablo's.

Burnsville El Loro servers are not friendly. We used to go to the Burnsville El Loro a couple times a month. After we had the same extremely rude waiter multiple times in a row, we will not be going there anymore. He doesn't give you even a second to tell him what you need, and if you do ask for something, he acts like you are an inconvenience. Last time I checked, a waiter is there to meet your needs such as a refill on a beverage. They also brought out half our parties food and the other half about 15 minutes later. Then they forgot about one persons entree so by the time he got his everyone was done eating. They didn't offer any discount either. I would HIGHLY recommend not going to the Burnsville location and visit Savage instead. The Savage location is much friendlier, better atmosphere, and faster service. Everyone in our party did not enjoy themselves due to the rude waiter and the service.

Worst Service. I eat at El Loro on a regular basis and NEVER get consistent good service! DONT GO TO THE BURNSVILLE LOCATION!! I went there for my birthday with my family and they forgot my order all together. On top of that 3 other peoples meals were slow to deliver as well. Everyone had finished by the time I got my food. Our server was rude and definitely had the I don't care attitude! What was more suprising is that they didn't even offer a discount for my meal or maybe a free dessert! These people do not have a clue!!!

Disgusted. Our waiter came to check on us once he had a I don't care attitude and the food was cold the only thing good was the pepsi

My favorite place!!. El loro is by far my favorite place to eat. I love their food. I also enjoy going their for happy hour. My husband and I go there so often they know what we want before we sit down.

unsatisfactory. I found El Loro unsatisfactory. The food was cold and dry, as if it had been waiting on the counter for a while. It did not taste homemade. Given the ratings, I was very surprised.

Great Salsa. El Loro is a comfortable family restaurant that serves generous portions of very good Mexican food. They make excellent salsa and are always happy to give you more to go with chips or your meal. El Loro has one of the best deals in town on a 34 ounce mug of beer. The nice folks that work there are good at their business and help to make the meal more enjoyable.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Time. I have been to this restaurant numerous times. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. The food isn't the best Mexican food I have ever had, but for the price it is great value. At El Loro, you never run out of your chips, salsa, or beverage. You always feel like a guest in this great little cantina. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Nacho Cheese Sauce !!!. Anything you get must have the nacho cheese sauce... It makes life better. :) They have awesome service and remember you everytime you come in. They also give little spanish lessons and have a mariachi band on thursday nights.
