Prairie Yang is an exceptional stylist who takes the time to listen to your needs and then works with your hair to provide you with your vision. She is extremely talented and knowledgeable in her craft and in turn makes you feel immediately comfortable upon meeting her. From her expertise of a flattering haircut, to the perfect color placement, to always being up to date on current trends – you will never be disappointed!

I see Prairie Yang at Van Strand. She is a true hair professional. She is a complete natural and takes pride in her work. She is also up on the latest trends and techniques. Her scheduling is flexible and convenient for those that work during the day.

The salon is also very professional and a fun place to be!

Here's my LOVE going to PRAIRIE YANG for haircuts and color! She's so personable and attentive to what your hair needs. She takes your feedback and gives you the result that you're looking for. I have had my hair cut, colored, deep conditioned and even did Balayage! She's great with nails too! I recommend her to all my friends! Her price can't be beat either.

Charita is a hair God-sent. She helps me with my hair and my baby hair. I'm so staying with her. It's hard to find a good hairstylist that is accessible at all times.

I live in the southern suburbs, and I've been going to Nicki at Van Strand for over a year now for my Brazilian Blowouts. That's a 45 min drive! Will NOT go see anyone else! She is amazing at what she does and so personable, the 3 hours in the chair fly by! My blowouts last as long as she promises they'll last. I've even trusted her to cut 15 inches off! Looking for a real, hilarious, and down to earth stylist? Nicki Deans will NOT disappoint!

Charita is an amazing cosmetologist! 13 years in the business. Hair she perfects, beauty she works wonders, and personality...there's none like hers. she's truly gifted at what she does. You need to pay her a visit if you need a touch by some gifted hands! At VanStrand Salon. If you wants colors, highlights, haircuts. chemicals or natural hair, she is IT!
