Editorial Review for Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge – by Donna Tabbert Long
In Short
A neon sign above the well-stocked bar states, "mender of broken dreams." Window booths and tables are filled with diverse clientele: pierced, tattooed and green-haired types, clean-cut professionals and worker bees in jeans and shirts with name patches. Drinks like the Paralyzed Polynesian or the Walking Dead come in glasses shaped like Easter Island heads, hula ladies, pirates or skulls (take them home for $4), and are boozy with specialty liqueurs and lots of rum.

We went on a Thursday night with a large group of 7 and didn't have to wait at all. Service was great. Super atmosphere. Everyone was happy with their food. The Red Rockets, Mexican Eggrolls, and Artichoke Dip were out of this world. The drinks were very strong. Pizza was average. Would definitely recommend checking out Psycho Suzis if you are in the Cities
Pros: Atmosphere, Price, Drinks, Appetizers
Cons: Pizza was a little disappointing (not bad though)

My wife and I were up from Chicago and got there around 7:30pm on Saturday night. They don't take names, and there was a wait, but most people were lining up and waiting in an orderly fashion. When it was our turn to take the next open table, though, some trixie who had just gotten there tried to steal it. We prevailed, but that was the only drawback that the potential for that sort of confrontation exists. Now on to the good stuff. We got our table after waiting about 20 minutes. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, and in no time we were perusing the menu while enjoying incredibly good (and strong) drinks. We ordered deep dish pizza and were very happy with our choice. The sauce had a nice, spicy kick to it and a unique flavor. The crust was decent, but I have had better. The toppings were generous and good. While we munched on the pizza we enjoyed trying a couple different drinks and just people watching and taking in the atmosphere. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the Cities, and would readily recommend Psycho Suzis as a unique, fun place with great pizza and drinks.
Pros: Killer deep dish, great rum drinks
Cons: They don't take names and manage the seating of patrons when there's a wait
