In Short
A neon sign above the well-stocked bar states, "mender of broken dreams." Window booths and tables are filled with diverse clientele: pierced, tattooed and green-haired types, clean-cut professionals and worker bees in jeans and shirts with name patches. Drinks like the Paralyzed Polynesian or the Walking Dead come in glasses shaped like Easter Island heads, hula ladies, pirates or skulls (take them home for $4), and are boozy with specialty liqueurs and lots of rum.

This place has some great pizza but I only wish there wasn't so much attitude. Yeah, you have a tattoo, that's quite the accomplishment, waitress lady/ bartender/ hostess. Why do all these people who listen to crappy music insist upon working in customer service? Anyway, this place gets really loud and, despite the prices, and it will provide a quasi-favorable experience in dining.

No offense you guys but I really can't give this place a good review. This place is insane. I say this because according to Einstein, insanity is doing the same thing over and expecting a different result, which is the case with Psycho Suzi's. I have watched this place slowly decline over the last few years with poor management and service, over priced drinks and food that you have waited too long for that is cold and burnt. I keep going back thinking that things will be different but they are not. Sure the patio is nice and the drinks are cool but very over priced and it is not worth the wait. You go there thinking wow, this place is packed it must be a really good place. But I hate to inform you, it is not. The reason there is the wait is because the place is small not because it's popular. I have confirmed more complaints about this place than I have the compliments. Numerous times we have waited only to have the dim-witted, anorexic Manager give our table to someone else who didn't wait as long. They don't put you on a list or anything and unless you get there at 2:00 in the afternoon the place is too small and there will be a wait. They have exceeded their capacity to really be a worthwhile establishment to venture to, even for the locals. There is a reason this place used to be a successful drive-THRU, location, location, location. Stay, have a nostalgic overpriced tiki drink and leave. Or wait, and stand there with a heavy ceramic drink in your hand with no-where to set it down and nothing to do but be a vulture and wait while you get crammed and shoved around. Once you get a table, the wait staff is trying to rush you out immediately after you’ve eaten, if you can wait that long for food. The more than a handful of times we have gone there someone always orders their nostalgic pizza but every time the crust is always burnt. Either that or they are pushing you to pay your tab so it’s hard to relax and enjoy drinks and conversation with your friends even on the patio, even if you are not ordering food. Who can relax when you have vultures eyeing your every move for a table? Try and have a conversation outside on the patio in the summer when there is a carwash next door with bass blaring so loud it’s causing ripples in your drink. Don’t get me wrong I like me some bass but this place has a creepy vibe. My friends and I don’t like the inside part because once so many people get there, it really starts to smell, bad. The bathrooms are horrible, keep your silly chalk. If you really have something to say, use a sharpie. Parking is even worse and there are always cops parked down the side streets of Marshall just waiting for you to leave Suzi’s. Just not worth the venture off the beaten path, not even for a tacky theme bar. Guess I expect more from a tiki bar in Minneapolis. They were featured on the food network but you know what, so was my Grandmother’s Rhubarb Jam and I am not kidding about that. Tried to love ya Suzi, many times, but your just too Psycho for us. You have made the list of our Ex’s and we will not be going back.

Wow this place is psycho! Very chaotic, noisy an unprofessionally managed. Staff running all over, dirty tables, totally unorganized. It was like a free for all. Waited forever for a table and then again for our food. The server acted like we were a total inconvenience. When it finally arrived it was cold and not our complete order. I spoke to a manager to see I it was always this crazy (thinking a different day might be better) and I was told “yes it is, crazy is good”. I really thought this was going to be a fun spot, but it just simply does not have a good vibe.
