The lower level offers contemporary decor with horseshoe-shaped booths and tables in view of a buzzing kitchen. The upper dining room offers views of the hotel valet service. Excellent staff, tasty food and prompt service. Special attention to detail on presentation. Same high quality everytime we visit the Metro. The wood flavoring of the steaks and chops- try them!

FireLake is not bad. Not bad at all. But that is the best that can be said. If the description doesn't convey "hotel restaurant," then let me dispel any confusion. This is a hotel restaurant. The layout is an L shape, with an extra banquet-like room for spillover. Most of the tables are arranged along the central corridor, meaning people walk past constantly. The service is serviceable, but nothing stands out. The food is very decent for a hotel restaurant, but there are 20-30 better restaurants in the Twin Cities. Unless you are staying in the Radisson, there are better places to spend your money.
