Poor Service, Overcooked Steaks, Cold Food. I used to be a regular at Tanners Station, No more. The service has really gone down hill and the quality is sliding( sometimes good and as of late declining ) Brown lettuce in the salads, Overcooked steaks on my last two visits (ribeye and new york) The ribs have changed also, Not what they were the last time I enjoyed them. I wonder if there is someone new in the back of the house ???. Anyway, I'll give them another chance because it used to be alot better. I'll write another review after my next visit.

Best food and drinks in Andover! Love the service. This is my first review for a restaurant but just wanted to let people know how great the steaks are! I personally have the Petite Terloin Filet wrapped in bacon. This one always comes out the way I want it. I have tried the pastas and have to say that my favorite is the Shrimp and Crab Linguine with their new Wine list its perfect! I will be coming back again and again to Tanners.

Great Food, Great Service. Tuesday night is Steak night at Tanners. My wife & I try to make it every Tuesday because there is not a better value in town! For $11 you get a GREAT steak, potato and salad. We also enjoy Thursday's special - 2 for 1 Pasta. Try the Thai Peanut Pasta - there's nothing better. The wide varity of Crown Royal choices also make dinner that much better. The freindly atmosphere and wide variety of food choices and flavors keep us coming back. Their support of the local sports teams is also a bonus. I would HIGHLY recommend giving Tanners a try.

Bad Food. My husband and I decided to stop in and have dinner here. We'd been here in the past and liked the food, but it had been a while since we'd last visited.

My husband's steak had to be sent back. The bacon on the outside of the tenderloin had spoiled, it smelled terrible and looked even worse. The steak itself once he took a bite was completely bland. After telling out waitress (who was very nice about it) he received another steak with again inedible bacon, and slathered in sauce, which the first steak didn't have at all. We believe the sauce was an attempt to cover up the poor quality of the meat, and my husband said it tasted slightly freezer burned to him.

My dish, the pesto linguine was better although it was kind of bland and the noodles were completely drowned by the sauce.

We won't be going back. The steak my husband said was the absolute worst he's ever had in all the years of dining out, and it cost $24.

Great Service. I believe they have changed their name to Tanners Station, but it makes no difference. The food is excellent and the service is even better. I always order the walleye and my husband really likes their Reuben sandwich. Last time we ate there, we were kind of in a rush and our waitress really helped us out. We were eating our meal within 15 minutes. Highly recommended.

Great Taste. I have been to Tanners Steakhouse with my husband for date night and with our whole family and we've had fantastic food and the servers were very personable and did a great job making sure we had what we wanted. The food had great flavor and we've tried the steaks to the pasta to seafood. All Great! My favorite is the brisquette quesadilla. FANTASTIC!!!

Best Prime Rib I've Ever Had!!!. My spouse & I go here for dinner at least 3 times per month. This is without a doubt, the best prime rib I've eaten. I've heard different views on their other entrees, however anyone who has tried their prime rib agrees with me. It does tend to get loud on the weekends, but during the week, it can be quite romantic. Also, on Thursday's Tanner's offers 1/2 price bottle of wine. I love this place & the management & staff treat their customers as very welcomed guests.

The Best of The Northern Suburbs. If you are looking for a hot spot in the northern suburbs, step out of Maple Grove and you will find Tanners. For the residents of Andover and surrounding area this is the best restaurant you will encounter. Show up once, show up twice then come three times they will know you by name. That is how great the service is. They will know you by name and make every effort to make sure your experience is all that you had hoped for and them some. Some of the best staff and always excellent food. I go to Tanners for the service, but I have come to reconize the daily specials keep me coming back time and time again. If you want to go somewhere where everyone knows our name, Tanners Steakhouse is the place to be. Have an awesome steak or a cimple sandwhich, they have it all.

Well below average visit. Service was awesome by Mary Kay, but the food and atmosphere was well below average for a steak house. Very loud, almost like a sports bar atmosphere in the formal dining area. Not a place to go for a romantic dinner.
