Decent. I live very close to the Ugly Mug and frequent it often. I almost always enjoy my meal and, although I'm not crazy how the place smells constantly of butter, the atmosphere is cozy. They have live music during the weekend and cheap beer. On weekdays, it is quiet and serves as a great place to work/study (especially with the free wi-fi). They do offer healthier options like a side of fruit or steamed veggies with your meal. The staff is always friendly. It's one of my favorite places to go for a quick, nice meal that's close-by. Highly recommended.
